Wonderful. ..The words were originally written in 1885 as a poem by Swedish pastor Carl Boberg ( after he was caught out in a thunder storm) In 1920's it was translated from Russian by Englishman Stuart K Hine when he was a missionary in Ukraine. ln 1940's he added 2 verses

Wonderful, Thanks for sharing. I was led into this by the Hymns for worship's Solo featuring Mr. Zernan Diaz. I was not aware that East Asia has so much talent singing for Jesus. Love you all!

And when I think, that God His Son not sparing Sent Him to earth, I scarcely can believe, That on the cross, our burden gladly bearing, He gave His life for all the world’s relief. And when draws near the day of my salvation, What happiness, what joy shall fill my heart! When I shall bow in humble adoration, And then proclaim: my God, how great Thou art!

I heard it again. I make it now to my Choir, SSA , cause I have Female Choir. I make it into 2 languages, English and Bataks( from HKBP Song Book), The same song( texts).
