Fun fact during ww1 when the British first rolled down tanks on the Germans, there actually wasn’t a word in the German language for “tank” like armored tank. So for a while they called tanks …tanks rather than panzers. You can hear this in bf1 shock operations battle of the Somme if you’re on the German side I believe.

historical "fun"-fact, the word tank is german and literally means tank, because the ww1 tanks looked like big watertanks. Later it changed to Panzer, which literally means armor

@@caked3953 Actually no, like absolutely no, the word tank is English, was named that way because they wanted that the germans in WW1 to believe they were working with water tanks Also, the A7V (the first german tank) was refered as SturmPANZERwagen by the germans already during is first tests Somehow, someway every single word you said was wrong, panzer doesn’t even really means “armor”, “plating” is actually a better translation

@@Leo-ok3uj I am not so confident about your statement regarding 'panzer', just by observing 'panzer' means the same as the dutch 'pantser', which very much means 'armour' in all usage's. But than again, it isn't like the first tanks where really armoured beyond protected against shell splinters and small arms fire. But yeah, tank is an English word. The Tank Museum has some great video's on the origins of the tank out there.

Did germans call their's Panzer? Yes. Does that roughly translato to armor? Yes. Of course my really short comment is a oversimplification of a more complex topic, deriving from a complex chain of reasons, I just put an interesting ( and you could argue incomplete ) fact under a short reaction video about an infomercial from the german military from an american in Korea. This isn't a peer reviewed paper for a journal

A lot of the Maple Syrup you buy in the store is just Corn Syrup with Maple Flavoring. So, there is that point. Even brands of "Real Maple Syrup" that use the Sap from a Maple Tree will frequently have other sugars and colorings added. So yes, the colonizers have definitely changed the ingredients from what the natives originally made.

Tanks are mainly support in these days anyway. Pretty much anything is a threat for them, their firing range is awful low in comparison to other systems, so they only work in combined arms warfare with massive anti air, artillery, ECM and so on.
