If you go on Untapped and search decks with Iron Lad and Green Goblin, you can see there is a deck with both in thats been played over 200 times, another one that only has 100 and a few with just a couple games played each. Somehow the top 2 decks with those 2 cards in have over 60% winrate and I have no idea how or why anyone would play this.

Prof x is just hard to play against, with throwing priority and playing Sera on turn 5 while they just lock u out. AND zabu was a significent hit for Sera.

It’s because she’s only good in this type of deck. She doesn’t work very well in most other decks. I say most because there are a few. Though most cards are only really good in a certain type of deck. Personally I don’t play much Angela or kitty pryde so I can see why they have her low

Weakest?! Likely the best week of the month according to a lot of people. The upcoming weeks looks bad, perhaps worth opening if you are missing the other cards. I mean Makkari is horrible even in surfer, only home is C3. Sersi is a meme card. Phastos can only be useful on curve but It's random effects. Arishem is another fun card but good? Uncertain.

Lots of other good 3-drops, perhaps cosmo and red guardian or rogue. Polaris or spider man would work with Kraven so that is also something to try :)

@@swedishZ0mBi3 Thanks mate. I tried Polaris and Sage which have both worked pretty well, although aren't perfect. Sage is usually a 3/8 which is pretty good, but Polaris rarely has value. Might try Spidey and Red Guardian. Red Guardian always puts in work!

Aww I was so hopeful that they decided to take them out. With them as a reward I never have a reason to play PG or Silver unless I'm just trying to complete the weekend missions with bad decks.

@@TLSGMarvelSnap Most of the time I open my caches till I get 1 or 2 gold tickets then I hoard, if I fail miserably in conquest I'll re-open some caches and so on When I have enough conquest points for the rest of the seasonal conquest rewards I'll just wait for the new season to re-open caches... Kinda redundant but I really feel inclined to do so with these CL rewards

Same man. The feeling of using 4 keys (and it's always 4) to get one new card and a couple lane varients and a few tokens is just so bad. But then you know that if a card is good you won't see it again in a spotlight for at least three months.

You could do hope to get vision out earlier on games where you have thena down or red guardian is a great sub. It might even be worth trying spider-man, miles, or cosmo out!

I've seen people lose with SK since she triggers after the turn like Havok. Good players will try and keep her under 10 power if they expect shang. The good thing is you can spread power to avoid tech cards. Also - luke could be included in decks like this to prevent SK.

I don’t think there is one. You could go goose but it hurts you bigger cost cards. The other Tech options aren’t as good

Couldn’t agree more. I’ve stopped playing the game since December because I keep getting Spider-ham three weeks in a row after opening caches. Now I only watch KZfaqr plays it

The strategy is to get people annoyed at missing cards so you're tempted to spend money on the game. Obviously the inverse can happen (getting frustrated enough that you decide to stop spending/playing the game) but they are banking on the people with low self control and big wallets being a big enough upside compared to losing players/not getting players to spend money. The Spotlight system is good for people with low collection levels and they are hoping that by the time you're mostly complete, you'll have "sunk cost fallacy" and will convince yourself to buy bundles so that you can have the newest cards. The best thing you can do is just save as many of your resources as you can, look ahead at the Spotlight caches and try to plan out which cards you're most interested in. Most new cards seem fun but the majority of them are niche or mid, so it's just worth trying to find one set of Spotlight caches per month that you want and focus on that. I know it's not that great but SD will never change this because it's the way that they earn money from players, the longer you play the game the more they want to milk you for cash. It's much less a card game and more of a gacha game that attempts to farm money from players by inducing FOMO and purposely restricting the amount of currency you can get without spending money.

The inexplicable thing is that all the new cards are series 5. It's crazy.

Save until you have 4 caches before you start opening and it will feel a lot better. A F2P player who does their dailies will typically get almost half of all new cards on release with this method.

Thena or Gilgamesh? I think Thena puts a lot of pressure on the board pretty early. Gilgamesh I think will be good, but just needs to find the right fit. I don't think blue marvel zoo is necessarily it.

Thena. She's just to similar to Angela. Although what curated here is actually interesting to see how everything stacks early on.

Destroyer is fine because we have tools to make their destroy plays in optimal by pushing their cards out of the intended lanes. Hela, you can look to drop initiative and you have shang or if you're having trouble in the match tech in a cosmo and problem solved.
