Today's hymn is "Softly and Tenderly Jesus Is Calling".
Death has been a bit on my mind in this last week, thinking about a few people who's time on this earth seems to be coming to a close. One of my favorite hymns for music that seems to blend so well with the words and what they are saying. Such a beautiful thought, to see the Saviour standing at heaven's gate calling, "Come home!" Love that. It's what we should be thinking about, because this world isn't home. It's not heaven. We must look to Jesus who has gone to prepare a place for those who love Him. I hope you love Him and can imagine Him saying, "Come home!"
