I think in an interview Jonathan said his father was of Egyptian descent, not Syrian.

his father is Syrian but grew up in Egypt- an interview very very long ago Dallas actually says that the actor who will be playing Jesus is Syrian. So she got this point right surprisingly as so many other things are wrong-

@@njrom2975 Yes there are! And tradition tells us they go all the way back to the missionary work of the Apostle Thomas. But Mr. Patel has never identified himself as a Christian and he has had plenty of opportunity. Certainly he has had plenty of opportunity with a project like The Chosen. I don’t assume a person is a Christian unless they confess they are.

When you begin to speak English, it's essential to get used to the common sounds of the language, and the best way to do this is to check out the phonetics. Below is the UK transcription for 'capernaum' : Modern IPA: kəpə́ːnɪjəm Traditional IPA: kəˈpɜːniːəm 4 syllables : "kuh" + "PUR" + "nee" + "uhm". The different cast members pronounce it "ca-pur-num" and not "kuh-pur-nee-yum" which is the correct way. How come? I love series 4 but the scenes with the Jewish leaders dragged on and on and were too many and too long and could have been condensed. Other than that, it was great, especially when Gaius got saved. I would have loved to see more about Gaius and his family after he found the Lord. ALSO BRING ERIC AVARI BACK AS NICODEMUS.

Why is all arguments about , is it about religion age etc , we are all one from the Almighty Lord, we belong to Him , JESUS CHRIST ' why the fuss about, please stop it , if we don't stop how will the world stop the war , virus ect , learn something from this video ' THE CHOSEN ' feeling very sad about what we people just arguing about. 😢
