About the theme of fertility at the end of your discussion, the incident/Jughead's detonation is why people can't have kids on the Island anymore, which is ironic since Juliet detonated Jughead which caused women not able to give birth and she was brought to the Island to find a solution to their pregnancy problems. It's not made explicitly clear in the show, but it makes sense from a logical, thematic and narrative perspective, and is also quite circular which is very LOST.

That Jack and Sun scene is one of my fav in Season 6. It's one of those scene where you realise how far they've come and how much you're gonna miss them once it's all over.

The flash sideways isn't just about the plane not crashing, but if the Island had sunk then that would've meant that Jacob never interfered in any of their lives, which is why there's some major differences. But it's also a demonstration in how these people are fated to be together and better each other no matter what

Sun only learned English to leave Jin. They weren't married, they were still happy she had no reason to learn English.

In regards to the question, which Kwon is the candidate, I'm pretty sure it's Jin, not Sun, for a couple reasons. The first reason is that when the Oceanic 6 went back to the Island, the people that were snatched off the plane that went back to '77 were all candidates (Jack, Kate, Sayid, Hugo). The main cast members that weren't taken back were Sun, Ben, and Lapidus, the latter two of them we know for sure aren't candidates. This would explain why Sun wasn't taken with the rest of the Oceanic 6 to 1977. BTW I acknowledge that just going to the past doesn't automatically make you a candidate, for instance there were a bunch of people (redshirt airplane survivors) that were also skipping through time with the Sawyer, Juliette, Miles, Jin group, but I think that was a special case when Ben moved the island. Ajira 316 was another special case, but in this case it only would grab candidates to go to 1977, while the rest of the plane and passengers who are all non-candidates (which includes Sun) crash land in 2007. The second, more mundane reason is that Kwon is Jin's last name while Paik is Sun's actual last name that she was born with. Jacob seems to identify a lot of his candidates from a very young age. It would be weird if it was Sun for him to identify her with her married name, which can change with a simple piece of paper. It makes more sense he's actually talking about Jin, who was born with the name Kwon.

There is no limit on how much money you can take on an international flight. It's just that if you take over $10,000, you have to declare it to customs. And there is no limit on how much money you take on a domestic flight, (plus, you don't have to declare anything) just be ready to answer questions if law enforcement asks you why you're carrying so much.

Contrary to what Suraj said, I watched and analyzed every episode and still enjoyed the ending. I did have problems with the plot but I at least got the emotional closure I needed.

Sun being able to speak only in Korean is a nice reversal of the first season where Jin couldn't; now Jin can speak English but Sun can't.

Why didn't atleast Suraj jump on the point Sawyer made when he asked Flocke about the fact of why he needed a boat instead of flying over the water to which Flocke replied if it was that simple why would he still be on the island? Here is my point - the freighter was further out to sea than Hydra island was so why couldn't he just fly there? Afterall he did fly to the freighter posing as Christian/Jacks dad when he said "You can go now Michael"

I absolutely loved the ending of LOST. In fact, I liked it even more as time passed. For me, it might be the best ending to a TV show ever.

Suraj I love you. You know that I do. And I have accepts how different our view is of Lost a long time ago. But when you say that ”the ones that didn’t like the ending didn’t watch and analyze the show like we do”, not only do I think that is very rude and pretentios to say, but I also massively think the opposite. This show was brilliant for 2 seasons, entertaining for 2 more and then it went to hell (yours may vary) but those good seasons were truly good enough to make some people blind of the flaws. Me included for a long time. But that was when I jus sat and enjoyed the ride and only analyzed the mysteries of the show. When I started analyzing the writing and filmmaking (lol can you still use that word for a show?) it completely fell apart. All of the gigantic plot holes, the show complete loss for subtilty, the show prioritizing the mysteries over the characters and not to mention the character assassination. I’m glad Nikki noticed Sayid and Claires but I think that happens to Jack and Sawyer just as much. But I digress. I could argue for days and days about the Lost ending but I don’t wanna take up your wonderful channels comment section lol. But that statement of ”the haters of Lost didn’t get the ending” really f**king grinds my gears. Love you guys still tho❤️
