The hit squad showing up to kill Gunner the same time Frank showed up was a coincidence. Agent Orange thought Frank was dead until that op. They went after Gunner because of the wiretap on Madani.

Gunner wanted to get buried because he didn't want his body to be found and used to smuggle drugs or something like that person described last episode.

As for who Lewis was before his service, I think he was just a normal kid, grew up watching the Star Wars prequels - we see in Ep 3 in his room at his Dad's house there is a model Naboo fighter from The Phantom Menace; played sports - there are also sports trophies (at least one for Hockey for definite), and also some little green plastic toy soldiers and a toy helicopter. While I was rechecking Ep3 I noticed above his bed are some books one of them titled BLACKWATER (which is probably the Jeremy Scahill book about the private army employed by US government overseas - a real life equivalent of Billy's company Anvil)

Not to piss in your guys' cheerios, but Billy Russo being a bad guy is kind of like knowing Winter Soldier is Bucky. Yes, it's played as a twist in the show, but anyone with even a passing knowledge of the comics already knew he was a bad guy going in. The only question going in was whether he would be a villain this season or they'd hold off for the next one. Plus, I'm not sure I could ever buy that actor as a good guy. He's just too good at being slimy to ever play anything other than a bad guy. I'm not accusing you of knowing beforehand Chris, just thought it worth pointing out.

The funny part is, Raven was also the code-name used for John Rambo in the first Rambo movie....nice little nod to that

I think it would be cool if the normies would have one show that’s all guys reacting like they have the punisher crew as an all boys crew. And then have a show that has an all girls crew and then all the other shows it’s just random as it usually is. I don't think frank was ever interested in Sarah romantically or sexually--he's too hung up on his wife for that. I think at first it was for leverage, and then after that he liked the feeling of being around a family again. Frank is like a pitbull. Ferocious and scary sometimes, and other times just fucking sad and just wanting some human contact that isn't murder. Hence Karen and Sarah and the Lieberman kids
