I mean... One of the main reasons spiders come into ours homes is to mate. Yeah, our homes are basically spider breeding grounds. Don't kill them, but don't feel bad for yeeting them out a window. I'd rather do that than risk 1000s of spiders living in my house.

Fun fact: Only female mosquitoes drink blood from other animals, as they use the blood to develop eggs after mating and have specialized proboscises so they can pierce skin and keep blood flowing. Their saliva has an anti-coagulant to help keep blood from clotting until they’re done feeding, and this is usually what leaves you with a stinging or itching bite and is what can transmit diseases. Male mosquitoes actually are smaller than females and avoid humans since they don’t need blood (and lack the special tools to get it anyway). Both males and females primarily feed on nectar and water though, making them pollinators, since the female only seeks blood when she wants to reproduce. Also not all species of mosquitoes have the female seeking blood, and some species that do still require blood simply avoid humans. And they’re actually good pollinators. Two types of orchid, the blunt-leaved orchid and the monkeyface orchid (which is endangered), actually depend heavily on mosquitoes for pollination. I actually react pretty bad to mosquito bites, I get big welts, and in the summer they flock to me if I’m in shorts. But it’s like the vampire bat, you can’t think all bats are bad or weird for a few species, and they still hold a big role in the ecosystem even if we can’t see it because they don’t produce honey like bees.

Hmm, years ago I heard my aunt scream or something, and when we looked into her room it turned out a spider egg had hatched, and I swear the wall was covered in thousands of spiders, and they had apparently fallen down onto her, so she got the “pleasure” of experiencing that.

I don't really care about the spiders and bees yeah,their alright.I grew up around a lot of wasp and I gotta admit I kinda got used to them,(I still hate them though)......but when I see a roach. It's a whole different story.

I got stung in a head by a hornet before and had a HUGE bump on the back of my head. I was in the middle of cutting the grass then and I was cutting under my tree I felt that sharpest pain in my head. I never ran inside my house faster after cutting grass.😂 It really hurt though but my parents helped me. 👌🏾👍🏽

When I was younger I went to a summer camp. At the end of each day we would all run to the camp fire, but this year there was a bee hive near the camp so we all had to be careful. One day one of the councilors who was 16 at the time was running and 4 bees flew up his shorts. One up one leg and three up the other. All of the bees stung him. He got stung a total of five times in 15 seconds. He was very fit and kept running the rest of the way like a boss. He was going to tell a staff person but by the time he sat down the pain had started going down. If I remember correctly he pulled out the stingers. Within an hour the pain was almost completely gone and all the soreness was gone by the time he went to bed about three hours later. The next year he set school records in track and field for the high school and now has a fiancé. Great guy.

I got stung by a bee as a child once. It was super painful. Thankfully I was too young to remember and I just hear my grandmother tell me how afraid of bees I was after that. Today my skin is so thicc, hehe, that I don't feel it anymore. I could be playing or working somewhere and someone would point out that I was bitten by a bee on my arm or neck, and I would just look at it and not remember from where that happened. I also don't get burned. On countless occasion, I spilled boiling water on my hands, and they'd hurt for like an hour and then go away forever. Sometimes they don't even hurt. Yeah, this comment has turned into r/iamabadass... "I'm so fucking tough, I'm so fucking tough" - Batmetal.

There are only a few types of spiders that may eat their kids... The females usually eat their mates..... yeah... circle of life sure is beautiful ain't it?

One time my nana was doing my hair outside on the porch and a spider game down on a web to chill right in front of my face - when I tell you I disappeared

When I was young I was told that bumble bees don’t stop chasing you until you run 200 miles. I never went outside near lakes or near the side of my house because sometimes it’s a really hot day outside and they can be anywhere. So i never went outside and I was actually afraid of these adorable harmless insects. 😵😵

Every now and then yellow jackets would fly next to the school but they were the most docile bugs I've ever seen

During the summer I couldn't even go to the mailbox without a wasp loitering around it, zooming past me or flying towards me and then going back to loitering. UGH! I haven't seen a bee in a minute though.

I’ve only gotten stung by a bee once, I was in my best friends backyard. We were talking about stuff by his pool and I was wearing a yellow and black colored shirt and the bee flew into the left sleeve of my T-shirt and stung me in the armpit and then flew out and it would’ve died sometime after flying out of my sleeve. It stung so much that my friends dad attempted to take the stinger out of my arm and i can’t remember if he successfully got it but I do remember he put some sort of liquid on the area which made it sting more but eventually helped it sting less.
