I was in cub scouts and boyscouts for a few years. I would always beg my parents to let me quit because I hated it but looking back, I’m glad I did it. I made a ton of friends and learned a lot of useful skills.

A few years ago scouts invited girls and it’s actually not “military” at all. It’s really chill and you learn HUNDREDS skill and I love it. I’m more than halfway to eagle right now and I’m what they would consider “young”. There was a boy 4 years older than me that has the same rank as me in our troop. So Boy Scouts (BSA) is actually pretty awesome and I recommend you join it. If you get Eagle (the highest rank) it looks amazing on a college and job application.

As a former GIRL scout, growing up in Illinois, we did day camp too, so it wasn’t only a Arizona Cub Scout thing. Edit: except the way we did it, it was only like an annual, one day thing and I guess it wasn’t that bad

Believe it or not I was in cub scouts with TheOdd1sOut,and I can confirm that everything he said is true.I was in the exact same level as him and there was this very annoying guy name Aiden who kept saying the most stupid jokes I've ever heard.James was really cool and I was friends with him but after the fourth year,I moved back to Romania and we never saw eachother again,maybe you remember me James I was Patrick?I literally just realized that this is the same person after watching this.Please tag him so he can reply so I can see if he remembers me

I did girlscouts. Pretty fun, accept the first year was hell. There were so many young kids, it was hard to pay attention. We were all 1-3rd grade, so you can imagine our meetings. But I was focused, to help the community. So yeah it's been a couple years but yk, you're welcome for all the dog beds, gifts for elderly, and beach clean-ups. 👍

I remember the Cub Scout people would always come into school to try and coax people into joining their ranks with cool magazines that showed all the TUBULAR things you would do. I just wanted to go zip-lining, but NO, my parents wouldn't let me join year after year, because it was too much money or something -0- Hearing about it now though, it just seems like a glorified summer-camp... And I hated summer-camp. Thanks Mom! ( - U -)

I was a cub scout in Canada and when I was is cub scouts we had something called pirate camp. For a couple meetings before, we would plan everything (food, supplies, transportation etc.) then we were to build a pirate ship as a group out of 2x4's. We nailed them together (with help of course) and went to the camp. Then we pretty much played pirate (we had plastic swords and everyone had pirate costumes on) for the rest of the day. Fuck that was awesome. Then, since the leaders didn't want to bring the pirate ship back home, they put it on the fire pit and burned it. The fire was literally over 20 feet high and we had to stand 30 feet away without burning ourselves. Then we ate chocolate fondue with fruit. Got dayum I loved cub scouts.

Believe me when I tell you this, there was this one kid in boy scouts, he was about 11 when he joined and he made it to eagle scout (highest rank below adult ranks) within a span of 2 years in boy scouts.

My brother and me went camping on our roof and took snacks and toys with us. We threw small pebbles at every passerby, flew kites and jumped from the water tower to a mattress. Also one time we were making marshmallows and we both had to pee(but we couldn't abandon the fire) so we both peed in the same Pepsi bottle and chucked it off the roof.

I remember cub scouts and at the Halloween camp and I was a wolf scout and not only did we do slingshots,archery, but ALSO GUNS!! Looking back on it them letting first thur fourth graders handle GUNS was very stupid but I had a good time.

All the scouts just came to the school and other places. All the scouts went on a half a mile hike at sutoma Park. I was like six. We also got to make some toy corn 🌽 and I went fishing with my dad at Cub scouts. My dad used to be a bad guy but now we got like thousands of weapons and he's strong
