True. If I’d never tried art I wouldn’t know I love to draw. If I’d never tried that candle making set my grandmother gave me I’d never have learned that I love making candles. If I’d never tried rollerskating I’d never have learned I’m an amazing roller skater and can play jammer on a derby team with great skill. If I’d never tried painting my nails or doing my makeup I’d never know I love learning how to make my body a work of art. I never would’ve known I love having things in my room be painted by me if I hadn’t painted the shelf that I use to store my plants. Speaking of which, id never have known I have a great love for caring for plants had I not bought a succulent from the florist center nearby. I wouldn’t have learned I love kids if I didn’t hang out with kids. Now I have a room full of my own art, a small candle business, many plants throughout my room, I’ve joined my derby team, and I babysit (I’m only 14 so I still have a lot of free time to do many hobbies)

Yeah, the thing with me and hobbies is that after starting them at a young age I still do them all the way into high school, like being in the Bowling League or Choir Practice. The problem happens is that you had to do that in ADDITION to school and it was really bad when I was in high school because it felt like I had little to no free time to myself and it felt like everything around me is keeping me from doing what I like to do.

you're right. as a freshman going into sophomore, i literally fee like i missed out on so many things because i didn't start it earlier. during middle school, i asked my parents if i could join a sport but they wouldn't let me because it took 10 mins off their sleep time... now i don't feel like joining any sports because of how behind i am.

As a percussionist in middle school, I can agree that we used to use those and we’re in the very back and we only had to play a few notes that are so easy or there’s barely any and no one can tell we messed up. That’s the cool thing about percussion.

fellow percussionist here and i totally agree, it's awsome. also just like you i am terible at the xylophone. also in percusion there is more than just xylo and drums. there's cabasa, cymbals, timpani ( another kind of drums), and a bunch of other weird instruments

Ive learned way more from video games than i ever did from school. It really depends on a persons mindset. Some people just cant learn as flexibly as others and usually those are the people that can only really pick up new things if you beat it into them with programs like school

As person who still takes Aikido classes , it is a very beautiful martial art , and can take years to fully master, most black belts spend roughly 10-17 years as a white belt , but most attacks that we train with, are punches or grabs , bc kicks aren’t used a lot in fights that I have seen, but we would most likely just grab or something similar , anyways love the video❤
