I loved Teddy and the Blue notes but in my mind & heart Teddy P is one of the greatest lead vocalists of All-time! He does not get the respect and love that is warranted for his talent!

@memphobro let me tell you a fact! When Teddy left Harold Melvin and his blue notes were still very successful. So don’t come and talk nonsense should have been called Teddy and the blue notes. Go and listen to a Teddy when he left the group and compare his style of music to what it was when with Harold Melvin and the blue notes completely rubbish.

Teddy Pendergrass who was initually the drummer who starting doing lead and responsible for HM and BN greatest hits.Harold was insignificant in the group. Teddy soon went solo and was one of the best. Unfortunately, while driving his Rolls he ran into a tree paralyzing himself from shoulder down and injuring the Tranny he was with.
