Another amazing half time show was when Prince performed. It was pouring rain outside, was like a dream. The nfl even made a mini behind the scenes of setting it up and dealing with the weather and how amazing the show went. Prince got everyone pregnant that night.

Performance wise arguably top 5. But in terms of everything leading up to it, the history between hip-hop and the Super Bowl, the line up, the controveries, 50 hanging upside down like in the music video, Snoop crip walking on national television and wearing the colors, Em taking a knee... It's the greatest halftime show imo.

The Prince Halftime show was the most epic of all time, this was freaking awesome, but Prince, Hands down the best every halftime show.

Mexican dude here, I love my metal, but I grew up with dr dre and snoop and everyone. Those are the guys i started listening to first and knew it was music! I cried seeing this, from L.A. loved this every moment. It may hit different, but I loved this half time show. New ones can’t compare.😂

TBH I’m not a rap fan but I have returned to this video dozens of times and will continue to do so. Not only was This was an ICONIC performance by GOATS in the industry but it was multilayered with the history and story it told. The production and set were beyond amazing. The dancing, music and transitions between the artists and songs were incredible. There won’t be another halftime show like this-unless the east coast rap artists can come up with something. And lastly it’s not fair to compare a single artist performance to FIVE GOATS. Rihanna had a fantastic show as well, but comparing hers to this one is like comparing apples and oranges. Much respect always to Dr Dre and Snoop.

Prince's half time show is considered by many to be the absolute best. It was pouring down rain & the producers asked him if he was ok, he said "Can you make it rain more?"..something like that. He played Purple Rain in the pouring rain, among other songs. #1 half time show. Even so, this one blew me away, it's incredible.

Best SB: Michael Jackson's halftime was the most watched at the time and was a mini concert with a message. Prince owned the stage during his, and Bruno teaming up with Beyoncé was a great moment as well.

This halftime show was definitely fire, cause it highlighted all the golden years of hip hop in the 90s and the vibe was so good, but I agree with the take of many other people in the comments, Prince's halftime show can't be outdone. His performance of Purple Rain in pouring rain was iconic. And he had all the swag as usual with his outfit, his skills on the guitar and obviously his vocal skills. His backup dancers were next level too.

This is without a doubt my 2nd favorite halftime show, but no one has been able to outdo Prince’s, imo. There’s just something about seeing him sing “Purple Rain” in the driving rain. Perfection.

This halftime show was by far the best I've ever seen in my life. Seeing Dre and Snoop Dogg start if off with a Dre song and then a 2Pac song was crazy. Then watching 50 hang from the ceiling was cool. Mary J's preformance was cool and Kendricks was weird but awesome. And then to top it all of, Em comes out and preformes Lose Yourself. No auto tune. No weird ass dancers. No cringy preformances. Just baller music.
