To answer your question on why these guys look middle eastern its because Russia is the biggest country in the world and spans across 3 continents therefore there are lots of nationalities mixed with slavic Russians. These guys are Dagestani from Dagestan which is a republic of Russia like Puerto Rico is to America. Dagestan is primarily is Muslim. Khamzat Chimaev is Chechen from Chechnya. They are all Muslim. But they are not a republic of Russia, they are part of Russia like a state. Im Russian( 28) and I grew up in Toronto, Canada. Im in Russia for past year now, its good here same as Canada. Not much different. Very beautiful here if you travelled here you'd be amazed by the architecture, culture, and people. Fyi Moscow is bigger than LA and New York by size so imagine how much there is to see. Its a megacity. I been there three times and was amazed like it was my first time there every time.
