Just found your channel today. This brings me back to when I was ten years old getting my first Pharaoh's Servant pack. I pulled Goblin Attack force and my friend's older brother tried to con me out of it. I saw through his tomfoolery, and I consider that a major step in my maturing process. I still have it to this day and it's one of my all-time favorite cards.

@@Russianboyz95 it's a paid service not out of the goodness of their hearts. If they can look at a card and give it a score they can fill out a rubric that breaks down why.

Nice returns! I just got a TP1 Mech Chaser myself that PSA graded; it got an 8 ( *very* minor corner wear). Now I'm considering selling my loose copy that's LP lol

Awesome timing man, I just sent in a bunch of 1st Ed MRD cards myself - was hoping to ask if you had any idea how much the rarer common cards might be worth as 10’s? Baby Dragon, Pumpking, Castle of Dark Illusions, Cocoon of Evolution, the “attack directly” short prints, etc?

I'm about to send some ghost rares that were straight out the pack into penny sleeves. Hoping for 9 or 10 but I know my ghost 1st ed stardust dragon won't be 10 cause of some shiny holo damage along the bottom edge 😣

Does PSA not provide documentation as to the reasoning of their grades? Or is it just, "this is what we think, deal with it".

They grade millions of cards. If they did that, it would take years to get your cards back or you’d be paying probably double the price to hire more staff to make that happen. It isn’t ideal to just get grades with no explanation, but it’s not feasible to get explanations without paying more and/or waiting much longer

The Old School Expert that makes sense but it’s still frustrating to send in the exact same card and get a nine and then get a seven... They at least need some standard it’s more objective to be held to. If you are paying for a service, it would be nice to have consistent good service especially when a lot of your money is on the line. :/

BGS do it for reviews of graded cards, I believe. You get a slip with the issues marked down on it. I understand why it isn't done as standard with any grading service (all the reasons stated by OSE) but I personally would never bother with grading without some sort of transparency or justification. Not when you're a paying customer and receiving random BS grades that make no sense.

Online, cards go up and down in price but as the years go by more people decide to buy the collection they had as kids so prices are steadily on the increase.

The Old School Expert Good call. I just pray that PSA doesn’t accidentally damage your cards when replacing the cases since they’re sometimes known to do that. Especially those one of a kind PSA 10’s of your first edition LOB’s.

I use Dek Prot clear sleeves if I'm putting cards in my binder to trade/sell them.

Honestly in your binder anything is fine, dont worry so much about it. I like hyper mats but its up to you

He gets 15 free grades with the platinum membership, so possibly nothing for these ones. Otherwise usually $10-20 per card.

Hey bro I have a 1st ed secret rare Labyrinth of nightmare magical cylinders in good shape the centering isn't perfect and the secret rare kind of Blended all over the whole card I don't know if that effects grading or anything like that but Id like do trade for something if ud be interested I will send u pictures and u can twll me if ud like to get it and what its worth ipl trust ur judgement

PSA is weird but if you keep cracking cards out you think are perfect and it's always getting less then a 10 then isn't that evidence enough that there is a small flaw? Just part of the game of grading, you know the deal.

I dont really see the point in getting cards graded, and paying to get cards regraded until you get a 10. If you think its perfect condition why not just put it in your collection and enjoy it?

Yeah the Wing Kuriboh is not perfect that's why it's a 9. I can see it's not centered well from a windowed video it's hard to imagine the grader will miss it. Get over it.
