My confirmation was at the Easter Vigil of 2021, and in addition to our very excellent RCIA, this channel has been the other pillar of my formation. It has been an enormous tool of solid Catholic understanding for me. I am eternally grateful to all of the great people of the MIC. 🙏📿

I, too, went through RCIA. Although my path changed over 25 years ago, I use this KZfaq channel to expand upon what I learned (and misunderstood during my RCIA classes). What a blessing this channel has been for us!

What a great episode of LDM, Father Chris. Father Mark, your basic information, particularly around the value of the body and soul connection, was logical, and indisputable. However, when I was surfing YT this morning, some ridiculous Ad popped up, talking about the soul and linking it to every Pop, New Age philosophy out there. I couldn’t get to SKIP quick enough. Every day it’s so wonderful to be a Catholic even though sometimes the secular world makes it exhausting and forever attempts to dishearten and dissuade us. You provided great insights and distinctions comparing the bodies and roles of men and women in their chosen vocation. I did not know your history Father Tim, but praise God, He brought you to us as a devout son of Mary. I did watch your ordination ceremony, and I pray for your relatively new priesthood, along with Father Jason’s. During my work years in schools, I did have the occasion to see performance art and it’s quite impressive, especially when as an observer, I had no idea what would be presented. I believe our artist did Lincoln, ML, King, and Saint Mother Theresa. God bless all of our beloved Marian priests, brothers, and support staff, who assist in this show. Mary, Mother of Mercy Pray for Us. Happy Patronal feast day dear Marian fathers. 🤍💙🤍

Our bodies being "Meaningless matter" this being Renés world view from the 17th century, sowed a seed of confusion. "Our spiritual soul that gives us the ability to discern." Understanding this for me, means feeding my "spiritual soul" constantly with the food from our Triune God. Thank you St John Paul the 2nd for the talks on the human embodiment and it's meaning. Please pray for us St John Paul the second. Amen

A couple suggestions perhaps speak to a priest make an appointment to speak with one and also you probably already are but in case you’re not get into a regular prayer routine. Praying for you. Be open to the Holy Spirit. He will show you the way.

@@alwaysmisskaryn thank you so much for the advice and support ❤️. I'm trying to stay consistent with the rosary every day and thankfully I haven't missed a day for a few weeks now. I'm also fortunate enough to have a few priests in my contacts, but I think I need to reach out more for spiritual guidance. I honestly feel like God is trying to discipline me and teach me to be fully reliant on him. Something about that makes me sad though, even though at my core, I feel like that's what I want and need. But it's like I feel like I'm going to be losing out in some way. I feel like God is trying to get me detached from a lot of things so I can fully commit myself to him, but part of me is just tired of the spiritual struggle.

One explaining the faith on the second Saturday of December, will be a wonderful presentation by Father Chris and Daniel O’Connor, a theologian, who has been on many episodes of Living Divine Mercy. He has a great book that I am currently reading in titled “Thy will be done “ Now that I think of it, Father Chris has a wonderful talk “how to discern the Will of God in your life”. You can find it on YT. Also ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. You’re on your way ! just that you are aware of your struggles is a sign you’re heading in the right direction. God bless you.

Sorry that this is off topic but I'm sure someone here can answer my question, I really want to buy a Diary of Saint Faustina and the leather bound version is so beautiful but it looks smaller than the paper back. Is it the full diary?
