In this installment of Inside the Skater's Studio we feature Danny Montoya discussing the process being filming his video part in Adio Footwear's "One Step Beyond". Topics include 9/11 and it's effect on video popularity, doing tricks on film once and then never again, marathon lines, and not wearing Adio shoes except to skate. Danny is a rad, underrated skater and we feel super fortunate to be able to include him in this video series.

that nollie-heel noseblunt down the table is burnt into my brain from childhood. i still have the copy of Transworld that talked about getting the nollie-heel front-nose & how tall that rail was at the spot

I was in this video. 318 to 320. Waited til maybe 1am for Danny to land that Nollie heel flip backside nose blunt slide down the bench. Cherry park, 2001.

Song:manfred krug-wenn der urlaub kommt (for anyone wanting to know) Anything from Josh and Theories is a thing of beauty. Kind of wish Static 4 & 5 had bonus footage but regardless one of the best skate video series ever film.

to speak about why this vid is not as recognized is because its a deadline on the entertainment level. it just happened to have an extreme lack of distinct memorable shit with the magic that certain other vids just ended up with. Jeremy's part was ruined by cheese-ass music. Kenny nose-mannying in a desert. the bonus footy in the dvd was the editors elaborating on the bland graphics that didnt add to the skating. I can remember Joey's kickflip
