Theo Rossi recently wrapped shooting Zach Snyder’s Netflix feature ARMY OF THE DEAD with Dave Bautista and the lead role in the independent feature DEAR ZOE directed by Gren Wells. Theo played the fan favorite role of ‘Shades’ for two seasons on the hit Marvel Netflix series LUKE CAGE opposite Mike Colter and Alfre Woodard. Theo can most recently be seen in the independent feature VAULT starring opposite Samira Wiley and Clive Standen. Previously, Theo was seen in the highly anticipated Imagine / Telemundo feature LOWRIDERS opposite Demian Birchir, in theaters May 2017. Theo grew a large fan base as one of the stars of the hit FX series SONS OF ANARCHY, where he starred opposite Charlie Hunnam and Ron Perlman as the series bad ass 'Juan Carlos Juice Ortiz'. SONS was the highest rated show on FX with over 10 million viewers a week with playback last season. In 2015, Theo also produced his first film with Emma Tillinger the independent feature BAD HURT which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival.

It’s 5 years from episode 1 to the last episode. Abel was born in the first episode and a 5 year old kindergartener in the last season. He was also 8 months at the beginning of season 3 when Jax was looking for him after being kidnapped. Jax tells a couple of black guys he’s looking for his 8 month old son.

So if you’d like to know how far along you are as in timeline for the story, look at how old Abel is at that point in the story.

The thing that always bothered me is that at the end of season 3 Tara is pregnant. Season 4 rolls around and Abel is a toddler and Thomas is still an infant. Is Abel an alien baby that ages at an accelerated rate or is Thomas an alien because he ages 1 year over the course of 4 years? Thomas has the same never aging genes as Stewie Griffen.

There was a different pair of birds in Gemma's bedroom for every season, the birds got darker as the show went on as a resemblance for what's happening, it was crows towards the end.

Literally clicked on the comments to post this question. Watching these early episodes I forgot the bird was white in the beginning and I was pretty sure she just has caged crows at the end.

Mr. Rossi and Mr. Coates, I have never seen the show- my husband loved it and listened to one of these reviews the other day which i happened to hear. I have no real idea what or who these story-lines and characters are. The sincere enjoyment between the two of you and the excitement is addictive. Your chemistry, humor, intelligence, ideas - I truly look forward to this, like visiting good friends who get your jokes that no one else does. I love listening to you both--this is real entertainment. Thank you for something that helps me get through.

The Boys on Amazon Prime is a great dark comedy. Don't let the "superhero" aspect scare you away, it has a great blend of drama and comedy.

It was so interesting seeing Adam Arkin as Zobelle in this show, especially with Katy, after seeing him playing the insecure Principal Gibb with her on 8 Simple Rules. I don't listen on apple podcast, just here, but I look forward to seeing you guys get into season 3. I actually really liked the small moments Juice had with Kerrianne, and Kerrianne & Trinity. Because you guys do this out of order, its so hard not to say "this happened & you forgot this...ect." but its getting easier & I love hearing the background and your takes as you attempt to remember things. The timeline is really inconsistent. The start of season 4 we know that it’s been 14 months time because of the boys’ jail time. Abel is a little over 1 and Thomas is about 7 months. But as the show goes on Abel is the only one that really ages. By the end of season 7, he’s 5, but Thomas is barely 1, and they’re supposed to be about maybe a year apart.

Drama/Dark Comedy is such a hit because people love a smartass! It’s smart ass comments that make people love them! And you both have made me laugh AND cry on many occasions! Not just on SOA, but Kim in Bad Blood, Brilliance at it’s finest! And Theo in the movie Lowrider, Ghost was such a deep character, Amazing! Thank you both for beautiful artistry!🥰🥰🥰

After about 6 months of Netflix recommending “Bad Blood”, I finally watched it about a month ago and in June watched 4 of the Marvels on Netflix, “Luke Cage” being one of them (didn’t know Theo Rossi was in it at the time). Theo, Kim, I highly recommend watching another show that aired years ago and on FX, Justified. I watched it this past summer for first time and was amazed how great it was. Now it made my list of favorites series ever. Timothy Olyphant and SOA alum Walton Goggins are brilliant. You guys would like it
