Hunters is the most underrated game in the whole Metroid franchise if you ask me. I would love to see a remaster.

God the concept behind this game is so badass. I wish they had the time to flesh out the other bounty hunters in-game, have some short interactions with them rather than just the occasional battle. I could imagine Samus, Spire and Noxus could've briefly teamed up or her having a proper confrontation with Weavel for what she did to him. It's by no means an awful game, but there was so much more potential here than what we got. Let's hope Prime 4 gives Sylux proper development.

My theory for Sylux is that he was part of the Galactic Federation, but soon saw something. 1. Sylux thinks the G.F. are weak and need to get stornger. Or 2. Sylux saw the corruption behind the G.F. and must be stopped

Who is here after learning Sylux is gonna be a major villain in Prime 4?

Forgot to mention that Sylux is popular because he is the most broken character in multiplayer, because of his life-leeching Shock Coil.

I think Sylux’s intrigue also lies in that he is the only other canonical in-game character who uses a power suit ( not counting Dark Samus because I think that’s supposed to be part of her body, or at least something of an organically generated armor based on the form of Samus’s Phazon Suit rather than an actual “power suit” ), as his bio states that he’s using stolen GF power armor that seems to have been intended to emulate that of Samus’s power suit, so assuming it works properly, he is one of the few characters which can be considered Samus’s equal, even in contrast with the other hunters - that fact that he has a ship with a similar form to Samus’s gunship only furthers that parallel.

I do hope all of these guys reappear one day, they all look incredibly interesting and have tons of potential to be bosses for future installments of the franchise. Sylux will definitely play a rival of sorts to Samus in Prime 4 (if and whenever that gets made lol).

quick note for Sylux for those who want to know more. When you scan him while plying hunters, it says that his ship and his equipment are all most likely stolen prototypes that came from the federation. (I am saying this from memory so please don't quote me on it.)

Would love to see Slyux in Smash to flesh out the Metroid representation, and beside, we could use more rival characters. Also, you forgot to talk about Gandrayda.

I really want to see the Kriken empire (maybe even trace himself) to return in a future installment. Sure, Weavel is cool, but from a story perspective I'd like to see what this faction has to offer. Also, now that we know the Federation is corrupt, it'd be interesting if Samus became an ally to the Vhozon. They are supposed to be in favor of enforcing galactic justice so they could held Samus with the federation.

You know what I find odd about the Hunters? Of the 6 new hunters who appear in this game, two of them appear in Smash Ultimate as spirits, those being Kanden and Trace. And while I love me some Trace, you'd think that Sylux, the guy who actually made minor cameos in two other Prime games, would be selected as the main Hunters rep.

Sylux fights using an advanced Federation prototype weapon, and since he was able to sneak into a federation ship and steal a Metroid he definitely has some connection to them

In my opinion, Prime Hunters was my favorite Metroid game. I wish they would've done more with Gorea, because his characters idea was terrifying to me when I was younger

Each hunters goal in regards to the Ultimate Power: 3:11 Kanden: Prove he's the strongest hunter in the galaxy. Vain 3:27 Spire: Find the answers to the extinction of his kind. Reasonable. 3:45 Trace: Glorify himself as a champion and his empire for new territory. Vain. 4:03 Noxus: Prevent anyone with evil intentions from using it. Reasonable. 4:18 Weavel: Get revenge on Samus for his previous loss. Vain. 4:38 Sylux: Wants the Galactic Federation, and by proxy Samus, to crash and burn. Vain. Anything else I missed?

Call me crazy, but I loved the campaign of Hunters. Great soundtrack, super atmospheric and downright scary in some spots, and extremely easy to sequence-break. It was easy to get all the weapons before grabbing a single Octolith, if memory serves. I thought it was a shame that the engine wasn't used to make a true-blue Metroid game on the console.

Ok come on Sylux is not the only hunter with potential for future installments. There us plenty of story you could build around Spire's longing for what remains of his people, Kanden's backstory and lust for power, Weavel's vengeance, even Trace and the Kriken Empire could become a new antagonistic force against Samus and the Galactic Federation, maybe Noxus could aid Smaus in combat from time to time.

Prime Hunters was amazing. I found this game in my local Gamestop years ago when i was a Teenager and discovered the Metroid Prime series for myself. I thought hey another Metroid Game, give it a try. I Just jumped back on the Hype train for Metroid and revisited Hunters a few days ago thinking, hey isn't Sylux supposed to have a bigger role in the New games? Yeah today i learned He was in Corruption and Federation Force. (Tho the First one is far more surprising because I think I never got this Secret ending and i don't have Federation Force) With this Video explaining even more about all the Hunters i didn't know, i'm Just getting more hyped because they all are so damn cool. (Noxus is best Hunter and no one can change my mind because I love Ice) Anyway, this Video gets me even more hyped for MP4. Whenever it's finished... Please for the sake of humanity Nintendo, don't make it like Metroid Dread and let us wait 15 years.

My favorites from Hunters were Sylux, Weavel, Trace, and Spire for the following reasons: Sylux: infinite jumps in the space station multiplayer map's outer space. Weavel: Turret pants. Trace: John Cena. Spire: Wall climbing. Though I still have a little love for Noxus. Because Beyblade joke.

I am from the future and I can confirm there is a new Metroid character and boy howdy he is a big character. He is as famous as Samus.

Just found your channel and subbed HARD. Loving the content and I'm excited for your growth. Back in the day I was a top MP: Hunters player (which sounds like internet-tough-guy talk; it's not haha) and I love that game to its core. I have wanted an MPH character in Smash so bad but I never get my hopes up much. That being said, it's somewhat reasonable to think that if Sylux does show up in MP4, he could possibly end up in Smash as well. I'm also hoping MP4 has multiplayer like Hunters did so I can have no life and dive into competitive Metroid again!

I think Sylux is popular because in multiplayer, he was EASILY the best to the point where he was unfair to play against.

I sank so many hours into the multiplayer when I was in middle school both offline and online. I was blown away when I found out there was a different ending and boss if you completed everything

Hunters was my first Prime game and the more I get indoctrinated into the Metroid world the more I enjoy it for the game mechanical and story-based risks it took. For it's time, there was nothing like it on handheld systems. To get a break from Space Pirates was also welcome.
