That’s my theory, different from Matpat’s theory which doesn’t fully match up with the timeline of the story. (Spoilers for his video) The people who had been abstracted would have to have joined the game and then become abstracted in like a day, and they would have to place the vr headset in the same position/spot as the first spot it was placed because the way Caine put the vr headset in the game. Also how would the characters we meet be stuck there for years if they’ve been there for days or months? It’s makes no sense for me, but hey that’s his theory so I’m not going to be rude or anything about it because we all have different evidence and reasonings for our theory’s .
