I love that he’s clearly been influencing the theories behind the scenes for a long time, and seeing it cary over in his interactions with mat makes me very hopeful. In fact all the people who are going to take over seem to fit the same criteria. I’m both sad and excited for the new generation. Btw, do we now refer to mat as gen 1 and the new hosts as gen 2?

We are all going to miss Matt for sure. However, I think the way he and the team are going about this transition is phenomenal. Slowly seeding the new hosts into various episodes prior to the announcement and then leaning in and really introducing them to the audience is just so smart. I'll miss the old style of the channels with MatPat, but I'm so excited for the new directions we're going to see!

I love that Matt and Tom have very similar vibes. Like Tom smacks/drums on his legs like Matt does, and they both were wearing similar jackets. I think it'll be a good fit, even if I am devastated to see Matt go

Also so excited to see Tom (and Lee) stepping into the theorist seat, as a longgg time GT fan from England seeing a fellow brit now taking over such an important part childhood just brings an even larger sense of home to this channel. Dude, Tom's love for pokemon reminds me of my own when I was a kid. Just like how his mom learned the first 150 pokemon, my dad actually was able to finish a crossword puzzle from the paper only because my brother and I adored the games and the anime when we were kids For those wondering, the hint was, "Ash's best friend," to which the answer was Pikachu

I read the pillowman in my highschool theater class, my theater teacher said it was a dark comedy and that it was supposed to be funny, I read it and saw the humor but it wasn't funny, it was tragic and real and sad, I really liked it.

I'll miss MattPatt. I still remember when I was still a kid and watched his fnaf theories and things haven't changed. I'm still here in Matt's final time and it's bitter-sweet. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Thank you Matt. For making me who I am.

One thing I do hope is that the channels will still remain connected maybe with the other hosts making cameos on each others episodes or collaborations on videos that combine two forms of media. Like the Bendy movie being Film and Game theory, or episodes about character designs with Style and Game/Film Theory. If theories are big enough then the channels could have 1 part on each channel it applies to.

I think for situations where there is crossover one of the new benefits we have with multiple hosts is we can have crossover episodes where the host crossover and we have two parters one episode on each channel

When I saw how great Matthew and Stephanie were together watching GT live every day as a kid I remember thinking to myself "I have to find a Stephanie of my own." Crazy enough I actually met a lady named Stephanie and fell in love with her. She is quickly proving herself to be a better companion than I could have ever even hoped for. Assuming this is the main prerequisite for being the host of game theory, Matt should let me take over in 2038 when Tom retires because the animatronics are all he can ever see except for the moon hologram.

Even though matpats early episodes of game theory hold a special place in my heart I think I'll really enjoy having a British host/narrator to game theory as a Brit myself.

It's the first month of the rest of our lives. I'm so excited to see how Amy, Santi, Lee, and Tom will leave their mark on the Internet as hosts. I really hope Matt Patt and Steph enjoy a bit more freedom. We'll always miss you both, but we know you will be working behind the scenes on many great things.

I would LOVE IT if the skits at the beginning of videos came back!!! They were so fun! I actually prefer long form content, when there’s a lot of buildup to something exciting it’s so much more fun than just getting handed information. It also sticks better So if skits come back you’ve got probably more than just one, but at LEAST one person that will be very happy!!!
