Hmm, I'm wondering of mine might have an issue. I do this exact process and no matter what, it starts losing connection

Hey man, After you fasten everything is your blade wobbly at all? When I am initially tightening of the bottom screws, am pushing down the blade slightly to ensure that the pins are making connections to bottom of the blade. Also, if it is not straight and tight on the bottom fastening screws, when you tighten the 5th screw on the top of the emitter it might shift the blade off the bottom pins. If you've done all of that I would recommend sending a support request to Theory Sabers.

@@BokunoKaiGuy ya, everything feels great and within a few minutes of swinging it around it starts flickering. I have already reached out, we shall see where it goes. You've not had any issues at all?

Hey Wesley I have had some issues here and there but only after swinging it around for at least 20mims non stop. I just tighten the four screws at the bottom and I'm good to go. That's when I feel it getting loose but not to the point of loosing contact between the blade and the pins. But I'm fastening mine pretty tight and precisely. Thanks for your comment bro let me know what support says I'm curious

I’m having too much trouble with the contacts. I just can’t seem to screw the five fastening screws just right where they hold up under impact. The contacts lose… contact and the blade gets loose. I’m actually pretty frustrated.

Hey Man, I'm assuming you've tightened everything up to its limit right? This saber from my experience isn't the best when it comes to making hard contact. Usually it takes about 3-4 HARD hits for it to loosen up for me. I don't use mine for dueling. I would reach out to Theory Sabers customer support if this doesn't help you out.

With such a small part of the blade being fastened, does it tend to loosen after a couple of hard hits, like the blade will start glitching and the like?

Whats up man thanks for watching. Where the blade connects is rather shallow, and the top part of the emitter with the 5th screw does secure it. However, if you do hit it a couple of times HARD it does loosen up and the pins in the emitter won't make a proper connection to the blade. A quick tighten of the screws will fix it. This is a fun saber to swing around rather than bash it against objects or other sabers (even though the blade can take the beating)
