As my granddaughter was opening her new box of shoes she stopped at the pretty tissue paper wrapped around them. She gently pulled it out and said “ look Nana you can make something pretty for your books”. Yes, grasshopper 🦗I have taught you well I thought❣️

Did you say tickle trunk ! I so remember that! Canadian living in Ocala. I only discovered JJ last fall. I so love watching you and I love your rambling talk. Makes me feel less lonely

Pam's "rambling" does help combat loneliness, doesn't it? With her videos, I feel like I'm right beside her, watching what she's doing while she chats away, mixing instructions with humorous moments and fun 'Pam-erisms.' Her videos helped get me through a very very hard time (health issues). There's just something unique in Pam - maybe its the lack of editing that makes it feel so much like I'm right there near her? Or just the fact that she doesn't script it, or usually even have a reference sheet of the instructions. I especially love the ones where she's working out an idea and taking us along with her journey from idea to product. Let's raise a cuppa tea 🫖☕️ (or whatever) to Pam, for amazing crafting videos (and abilities!), easing loneliness, and having the cutest pup ever! ❤

Pam, these are really cute! I was playing along as you crafted- I tried 1) a flattened beet-dyed coffee filter glued to a paper doily to make it more sturdy, 2) a tea-dyed paper doily glued to a piece of printer paper for support & cut around the doily & 3) another coffee filter glued to a piece of scrapbook paper & cut around it to make a circle. They all folded nicely per your instructions. I'll bet you could even glue a piece of light fabric to paper and fold it after cutting it into a circle. You're very inspirational! I really like the fabric idea too. Most of my journals have a fabric outer cover and paper inside cover. I make pockets out of the cover fabfric

That is such a clever design, and the blue ink is lovely on there. 😊 I’ve never seen postcards cut out like that; those are beautiful. Using paper punches on less than beautiful postcards (like those shiny Kodachrome ones of motels and tourist sites from the 60’s) I think would be worth a try. I’ve not seen anyone else do that yet.

13:35 if anyone can’t afford the fancy daubers, I recommend using cheap makeup sponges (anyone one will do, but I use the triangle ones so I have somewhere to hold.) They work just as well!
