THE BEST RIDE ever! Just back from Universal two weeks ago and we rode twice on Hagrid's. First was the sidecar-- an awesome experience and intro to this phenomenal coaster. Next... I tried the bike-- yes it is more thrilling than the sidecar as you are even more 'open air' ... it feels like you are flying! I would definitely choose to go on both again. Next time... we'll try it at night as I understand that offers yet another, thrilling perspective. This is the best ride of any kind I've ever been on. Everyone in the family loved it!

A few things about the ride. It does switch from left to right frequently and can at times jerk you to either side. For some, this can be jarring and a bit painful on a sore back, especially if you're sitting on the motor bike portion of the ride. Also, get a lanyard and have your ticket in the lanyard. Lots of people will use their phone and this can be a pain because your phone will go into screen saver mode which will mean you will have to log in to the phone, open the app, etc. We had our ID, tickets and a debt card in our lanyard. (For security, it can go down your shirt.) Lastly, secure everything in the locker except your ticket/lanyard. This includes hats, bags, cellphones, sun glasses, everything. Even thought my phone and sunglasses were in my pocket, I felt like I was going to loss them at every turn. Overall...this ride is awesome! (Velocicoaster is better IMO because it felt like a smoother ride. Didn't jerk you from side to side quite as hard as Hagrids.)

It's a great ride! Rode it in 2019 after waiting for four hours and then it broke down (the dragons rarely broke down but this did at the time) and we got an express pass for later. Which we used first thing the next morning. Super fun. Going again in Feb 2023.

Would you say that taking the single rider queue is a risky move as it is a two seater ride so there would be very few chances for a single rider to get on? As in universal studios Japan, there was a ride sadako or something during Halloween and their single rider queue was really strict and only allowed people on when there was space not like every 2 cars. This ride was also a 2 seater ride

Pretty sure with number 9? For using the lockers that you can have a fannypack/bumbag on this ride if you pack really light.

I want to Universal and got on Hargids and hot on the first row all three times I went!!

You say glasses have to go into lockers, but what about glasses that are required to see everything? I have to wear glasses as I can't make out details of things that are more than two or so feet away.

Can we take our cell phones if kept in an inside pocket of a jacket?

Can you wear prescription eye glasses and park lanyards on this ride? The app does not address these questions nor does the "live chat" (the "chat" suggested I check the app. Ah, I AM asking on the app. Horrible app).
