Honestly, what makes me mad is the fact most of these people are doing this for views and wasting food. Wasting food is horrible and I hate when people do it. I don’t know if it’s because when I was growing up we couldn’t afford food or something but I hate it.

I'm totally with you on that. I can't actually laugh at these videos because I find them disturbing. I think it's true what they say when they say that things like TikTok make people mentally unwell. I can't believe there's a platform where narcissistic people like this get so much attention so being so monstrous and ugly. There's a reason I'm not on TikTok. I'll take beauty and good food; I'll take Pasta Queen.

The most insane idea for me was, when tones of people broke their washing machines, by trying to knead dough in them, after watching a dumb viral video. Don’t know if it was worldwide, but in Bulgaria around Easter time during the pandemic all culinary groups on Facebook exploded with this. 😂🙄😳

I'm Swedish, and have never made my own pasta from scratch, I just cook Barilla no:5 and serve with my homemade Swedish meatballs, perhaps add a little tomato sauce or grated parmesan, and I'm still appalled by these recipes.

We don't respect food like we used to. It's so easy for us, especially here in the US to buy food without even a thought about the work that's put into making it. Also most of what we eat is processed in factory so TBH not much love and work is put into food and that's part of the problem. Nothing beats artisanal food. Most people take food for granted. And yeah, ok some of these (I hope all) are jokes but it's SO wasteful. You want views, make a tray of pasta, and bring it to a shelter, bring it to the homeless and film that. Don't waste food.

Love these videos! Question, though. I read recently you should never salt your pasta water when the water is still cold as the salt will fall to the bottom and pit the stainless steel before it dissolves. Your advice? Thx.

A couple of these videos are from this whole genre on tiktok where seemingly attractive woman cooking the most atrocious food ever possible. It's always the same formula. The video format, the camera movements, the commentary from the camera person. They're very similar. Once you notice it, you will see them everywhere.

When I was little and my family traveled across country .. my dad would put canned food in the car engine and after xx miles he would stop at a picnic area and our family would have a picnic with what he heated up along with bakery bought fresh bread…. He never put a lasagna in the engine but I imagine it would of worked if secured properly ??
