Love how the segment was supposed to be about how great the Pats were and how the dynasty show didn't do them justice, Bill derails that within a minute then proceeds to drag the Colts, Pat and the boys the entire time while others were catching strays left and right, that was classic Bill Burr in peak form there.

@@almoen5412 He was good enough to play at a large college, where he won awards🤷🏿‍♀️. He “left” because school was over, and he could punt good enough to make an NFL team. Punting is significantly easier, with less pressure. The point is that Bill doesn’t realize he wasn’t an NFL kicker, and for some reason, Pat pussed out, and never corrected him…so now Bill mentions kicking in every interview.

Let’s be real folks, the NFL would not conspire against the team that is making them a boatload of cash. However, when certain allegations are raised (whether it’s deflated footballs or video taping walkthroughs) they have to do something to make it look they are being impartial. The media would have a field day if they just brushed it off without doing anything about it.

You cannot conspire as a single entity. The NFL learned with the Pats (and rolling over to the Chiefs) that 31 fan bases hating one team makes more money than a bunch of divisional rivalries. But if you don't give the haters a nibble every now and again, then they lose interest. The "collusion" you speak of is a carrot dangling on a stick before a donkey.

I love Bill Burr! His take on the prevent defense makes total sense, why would a team up 2 or 3 touchdowns switch to a prevent defense in the 4th quarter? According to Bill because the NFL wants/needs the game to be competitive to the very end, otherwise they’d lose viewers in the 4th quarter & companies paid big $ to show a commercial late in game, makes a lot of sense

I didnt watch the dynasty so i cant speak on it personally, but i live in boston, listen to the 2 sports radio talk show stations 98,5 & 'EEI every day and not only are 90% of the fans pissed, but a majority of the players who were interviewed were pissed. Alot of people felt mad that it made B. Belichick out to be the lone single reason everything ended up falling apart here. Which inturn made them sympathetic towards B.B. and outraged at R. Kraft.

The threshold for proving something in court versus a non judicial process is entirely different. Both things can be true…there can be enough evidence to reach a balance of probabilities outside a court preceding in the work place and also not reach the threshold of evidence in a court.

This is why Bill Burr is one of the all-time great comics. He has a history of making his interviewers uncomfortable on TV, but this has never stopped him from saying whatever's on his mind. He is the literal embodiment of everything people want to, but refuse to say outloud.
