Love Jimmy, wish he could have stayed the 1st time and I hope he can return to his old self. If he says he's in the best shape of his life, I believe him and can't wait to see him catching footballs in the endzone again and dunking over the post. It's also great news that all the players believe in Derek Carr because I wasn't sold on the Carr signing when it first happened but now I'm more open to it and will be rooting for him.

Definitely not. He was only all time great for a couple of seasons, and his career is full of chokes that could be directly attributed to him.

Compare his stats to other tight ends and it isn't really that outrageous to think about. If he gets to 9K yards and 90+ tds, it'll be hard to keep him out, after a little wait. Especially since it would take a couple of solid years, to achieve that, in the twilight of his career. Right now, he's not quite in.

He needs less then 170 yards to move to 7th all time by a tight end 29 catches to move to 6th all time in catches and 7 touchdowns to be tide for 3rd all time in touchdowns that 1 probably wont happen unless he can play a couple more years but he will definitely be a hall of famer if he can do those things

Look at their depth chart compared to other teams. Especially in the NFC. Not unlikely. Especially considering Carr never had a defense that was in the top 20. Now he has a top10/top5. Saints could make a run. Same situation with the colts and jags in the AFC.
