This Jonsbo Case blew me away! I wanted to build in it so badly that i bought one for myself and we are going to build a monster pc inside of this case. With a AMD R5 5600x and a Nvidia 4070 inside of here this computer not only looks amazing but its performance is off the charts!

I have a top mounted 360AIO exhausting air in the case past the heatsinks out top and noticed high CPU temps (13600K). I've mounted 3x120 fans at the bottom and one 120 fan at the rear, I was unable to mount a fan at the front. I'm not sure why but there's a lot of hot air build up in the case and that's getting passed through the heatsinks to cool the cpu which results in insufficient cooling. I'm thinking of reversing the top mounted fans so cool air passes through the heatsinks and hoping all the hot air will exhaust out the rear but it's a lot of work... currently leaving the side glass panel out to reduce temps (by 10degs!). Does anyone have a good config for optimal cooling?

You should be able to mount a fan at the front though

you can reverse the rear exhaust fan to be intake for cpu only worked for me in similar set up

Screw you for making it look easy to build, I have a 10900k with a 360 cooler master sub zero and 3 more fans.. there is no room for wires

I built in this case 8 months ago. You can install a 120mmx15mm fan in front of the chassis behind the front panel and route the connector up behind the 8" screen. I did that even using a long-ass PSU and a 240mm AIO at the top.

I have that case and I solved the rear fan situation by just installing it on the outside of case with a fan grill on the back of fan.

I know this is a random question but do you happen to know how hard it would be to modify this case to fit a MSI Project Zero B650m or if theres any sort of risers you could possibly use to make it fit? That specific model b650m has all the connectors on the back side of the board (project zero = "zero" cables showing) and it just came out so basically you're pretty limited on cases that say they will specifically work for that board but I think that board and this case would be a god tier combo even if you had to modify the case. I plan on getting that case and board sometime soon either way but again I just think it would be an amazing build

I think it is a good case. Example you want print some document, you dont need to open monitor. Or if your gaming you can use controller. Nice concept.

I purchased this case. It came today. The other components for my new PC are still missing. I decided to go for a white build. So, even RAM, Board, GPU and PSU will be white. :) CPU will be cooled by a 280 AiO + I will have 2x 140 on the bottom + 120mm on the front and on the back - if everything fits. :D

I've been trying to decide whether to go with this jonsbo d31 since someone's selling it locally for $100 or the jonsbo d300 for $250 or the fractal terra or the fractal north but it's been so hard to decide. I have the ssupd meshroom s currently with a Tempered glass panel and I just ordered an nzxt 280 cooler for the lcd display, from amd ryzen 5 3600 to the ryzen 7 5700x. I only like this jonsbo case for that lcd display but the nzxt coolers have that lcd display. Fractals are making cool wood panels added on. If I get the jonsbo, I got to return and sacrifice certain things like maybe the cpu upgrade because I also got to upgrade from mini itx motherboard to regular. Not sure what to do and also it's hard to tell whether this case is bulky or not since mini itx barely takes up desk space

I'm going to build a new pc (ryzen 7 5700x, rtx 3060 12gb, 700w fsp), thinking to buy a "be quiet - Pure rock 2", but for now without a case, to save a budget. I thought that i can try and make stealth tiny build pc (basically my dream), but realized that this monitor is game changer. He's using hdmi, right? And should i'm worried about using of AIO, cuz i never done that before, i really want to use AIO in here, cuz i have no doubt it'll look cool as hell, and better temps, but idk anything about AIO, what your guys reccomendations on here would be? Not going to overclock alot, likely only the "PBO auto" and that''s it, any suggestions?

It was very tight to fit my Dark Power Pro 12 and my 3080 in this Case. It a contact fitment. U cant get a sheet of paper through there.

Lemme tell you, I've been wanting to use this case ever since its releases. Never once for some reason I thought of using it as a monitor lmao. I only thought of it as an extra display for like your system stats or something 😂. I'm getting my PC next month, a pre-built one and planning to sell the case for this case.

how does using that monitor impact your system when gaming etc Also, if going with this build below, no real overclocking to speak of would I be better off with a 240 AiO so I can fit the front fan, or would a 360 3 fan top, 3 fans bottom (slim or normal noctua 120mm), 1 rear be more than enough to stay relatively quiet and cool? My proposed build: 7800X3D 7900XTX Sapphire Nitro+ Vapor ASUS Tuff B650M plus wifi 64GB Trident 6k DDR5 ram WD Black S850NX 2 TB ssd Corsair SF850L Thank you

If you were not going to overclock the system then a 240mm AIO would be just fine! The monitor had no impact on the system. It’s just a additional screen that you can use however you wish. If you did go with the 360mm then you don’t need the front intake fan. The 3 on the bottom and 3 on top do a great job moving air, plus with the AIO you could fit the real exhaust. Good luck with your future builds :)

Im confused as to the bottom fans, generally the graphics card fan will be blowing down, and seeing there is a dust screen on the bottom I am assuming those bottom fans should be pulling air in and then it will blow out the top. This way you have good consistent air movement throughout the whole case. If there pulling air in right under where the graphics card is blowing air down, wont that mess up the case air flow?

@@rhufnagel graphics cards don’t blow air down, the fans on a graphics card push air into the gpu heatsink and out both ends of the card. The bottom gains draw air inside and the top fans exhaust the air. If you have a front intake that will help draw the air in and a rear fan would assist in exhausting air as well. So you would have 4 intake and 4 exhaust fans creating a nice smooth airflow throughout the entire case.

I will, it can fit a 4090 if you wanted. The power supply cage moves so you can fit massive cards in there

Just get the D41. The dimensions are the same but the D41 is less than 2 inches taller. You can then fit a ATX motherboard and install 8 fans.

Ooooo I am not 100% sure because it’s been a whole sense I worked on that pc but I am fairly positive it was a usb-c to standard hdmi

I don’t believe so but why would you need a monitor that small to have that high of a refresh rate. It’s not really a main display type of screen

If you have to travel to a relatives house or something you can just take this pc with you and game on the built in screen, i want it but would have to buy a new motherboard and my noctua d15s probably wouldn’t fit either😢

I feel like if someone could make a way to have touch screen controls like power on, restart, power off, enter bios, boot menu etc just from the touch of a button that would really stand out. I mean its 2024 and im suprised this isnt a thing yet.

This Case Would be Great for a young Kids first computer Especially if you have 2 or 3 young kids say from age 5 & up , this would be ideal for each kid until they got to say 10 years old or if they really got heavily into gaming or more demanding school work... & BC each kid would have his/her OWN set up they would not take up alot of space but as the get older and you could Just add a cheap 100 ish for a 25'' 1080p monitor and as Each Kid got Older the Monitor could Shift to the younger kid when the Older child Needed a Bigger Computer......kinda like how Clothes used top be passed down when we were kids !!
