Great video! I couldn’t decide between this and the other Dr. Grip, but your video helped me see I would prefer the grip on this one. Very helpful, so thank you.

Found you while searching for the lamy safari black (which I just bough earlier today). Seeing as that video was 3 years ago, you still have the same tone of voice / personality when speaking. It's good to see that you are treading life better than most people. Good luck.

Thanks so much; I appreciate that. I'm not sure that I'm getting through life better than others, but if nothing, I tend to be consistent. Plus, I've gotten to practice teaching, presenting, and public speaking almost every day for 15 years, so I think I'm comfortable with that part of things. It's probably why I seem the same. Thanks very much for watching and commenting. :-)

I love pilot. Japan. An eldritch recondite and erudite "sui generis" loves writing instruments in this functional caliber. Axiom is where it's @ though. Luv u, thx.

What is the best ballpoint pen (< $30) with a large refill can (I don't like replacing refills often) in your opinion? Best by ink quality and line smoothness?
@ThePenPixie2 жыл бұрын
Honestly, one of my favorite ballpoints is just a simple Bic Cristal. They're really inexpensive and work flawlessly. I also really love the ballpoint pens from the brand Lug. I know this didn't answer your exact question, but Bic Cristals are my favorite ballpoints. Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

How do you replace the ink? I am having so much trouble!

Unscrew the rubber grip half from the plastic top half. The refill should be just inside. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

are there any gel refills that will fit?
@ThePenPixie2 жыл бұрын
If you go on jetpens.com and search for this pen (and they have it in their stock), you will find a refill link near the item description. This will give you a list of compatible refills. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

Can this pen write on a piece of paper against a wall, and also when lying down on one's back, and also under water - like with a 'Fisher Space Pen'?
@ThePenPixie3 жыл бұрын
No. The reference to "center of gravity" is about how the pen is weighted. It's weighted in a way that is supposed to cause less stress on your hand. It's not at all like the Fisher Space Pen. Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

What would you swap the refill out for?
@ThePenPixie6 жыл бұрын
If you go to jetpens.com, you can search the Dr. Grip, click on a pen, and then click on the recommended refills/parts under the description tab. It will tell you every refill that is compatible with this pen. You can then choose from size, color, and ink formulation. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching and commenting. :-)

Another great video. Helped me identify a pen I had forgotten the name of. I knew it was a Dr. Grip, but I knew it wasn't a regular one. Thanks.
