When I was a kid I had a strawberry roan named Sugar that would sneak up behind me and use a hoof to push me down so she could take my snack. Then she would laugh prance and dance. She was my best friend

I love animals. At some point in my life, I have owned almost all of these. They teach good life lessons: piglets are cute until you pick them up. Goats leave permanent hoof prints on cars. Sheep dent your fenders. A hungry calf will suck up your entire forearm. Geese just hate people with the passion of seven suns. Baby raccoons 'giggle' if you tickle them. Baby skunks don't stink. Baby chicks will make a beeline for your finger if you tap it on the floor. Mantis pods will produce an ungodly number of babies, which are hard to remove from your sister's bedroom, especially when said sister won't stop screaming. I own a cat now. That's all.

Interesting with the dog holding the carrots. The pig went for the roots, and the rabbits were going for the green tops (as I knew they would!) Rabbits HATE the root part of carrots. It’s so bad for them, and they know it. But they do love kale

That rooster chasing the person remind me of my 1st one. Loved to scare my daughter when she'd come over. He'd wait until she was almost half way to the house then run at her. She'd scream, run back to her car jump on the hood and he'd circle the car like a shark until I'd quit laughing enough to go out and yell at him to stop, so she could come in. Then he'd ignore her for the rest of the visit. Only one he did that to. But my oldest son was his nemesis. The few times we were out of town for a night or two he'd come over to let the chickens and other birds out in the morning / put them in at night, put out food/water , it was war between them. Roscoe (the rooster) would keep attacking my son the whole time. It was a serious fight between them. But when he'd come over when we were home, Roscoe would stay away from him and instead just glare at him.

We have a farm close by here where I live in Easton Pennsylvania. I love to go there to buy their incredible milk and eggs and to check out their hilarious and very friendly farm animals. They crack me up! One time a rooster was making a tremendous racket at the farm, and there was a bird with a very long tail standing next to rooster. I don’t know the name of the bird, but that bird got so pissed off that it took its tail and smack the hell out of the rooster! Then they came after me! LMAO! I tell you, that entire farm jumped. Those feathers went flying! 😂😂😂😂😂
