I had a German shepherd in my neighborhood who was always seen carrying cats on his mouth. He never hurt them. Just carried them. Cats didn’t seem to Mind.

Animals all have the ability to control their strength of mouth when using. Big cats and gators have strong jaws but can carry their children with no problem. And she was trying to find the soft spot on the critter but failed, so just take a mouthful and job done.

My Lab rescued our cat in a walk one day. She would not let my husband leave the kitten behind. She guided this kitten with her nose all the way back home, we took him in and she “took care of” her baby. We weren’t sure the little guy would make it he was so thin and full of fleas. He’s now a full grown cat and very healthy and sweet cat.

Wake up, smell the coffee, see what's Really going on here. Does this look kind/good for this kitten? I realize a dog this size could Easily kill the kitten, don't get me wrong, I just don't think it's gentle Enough for a tiny baby like this to be picked up & carried by the head, be it by a dog, person, etc.

That's how most cats and dogs carry their young. Even lions, in the wild, will grab tiny baby lion cubs by their head, and carry them around in their powerful jaws. The cubs know not to move, and the mother is super gentle, so no harm occurs. It's instictive and quite beautiful. 😊

I never used to like German shepherds but, my exes dog is as half German shepherd and half Rottweiler. I was pregnant and sleeping in bed, when my exes dad came into the room to get something off the dresser and the dog was apparently growing ferociously and showing his teeth. The dog had lived with my ex and his parents as a puppy, so him acting that way towards his owner was so crazy to me. I felt so safe with that doggie!

German Shephard: Heard instruction, Do it himself, So he saw the kitten run upstairs, Point t9 the next step. Kitten want to go. But the Shephard stop saying no so first it take awhile, then the kitten submit and the Shephard pick it up by the head and carry the kitten gently o the top. place it gently down, watching over it.

This is so sweet. I had a golden lab and she bought baby’s home she would pick up baby birds and baby rabbits that were lost and carefully carry them in her mouth home to us fully alive and well. She knew we always fed them till they were old enough to leave on there own😊

Псовые и кошачьи в естественной среде конкуренты, так как чаще всего делят кормовую базу, поэтому в них инстинктами заложено подчищать численность популяций друг друга, отсюда и естественная вражда. Но в домашних условиях отдельные особи одомашненных видов обоих семейств вполне могут уживаться, если у них заработал механизм вневидового восприятия "своих".

Cats grab by the scruff to move their young, dogs actually do grab (gently) by the head! Dogs don't have as much extra loose skin at the scruff as cats do.

when I was very little I used to get kittens like that out of whatever hole they crawled into at my grandma's... they really have no problem being carried just by their heads alone for a little while... you need to be gentle though as they bones aren't fully formed yet XD

У меня была такая же история; овчарка Вольф всегда таскал в своей пасти котёночка Васю а потом уже через полгода тащил кота Василия, который без сопротивлений просто висел в пасти Вольфа. Прохожие пугались и кричали , что огромная овчарка убила рыжего кота. Вольф спокойно заходил во двор и ,буквально, выплёвывал Ваську у порога, всем видом показывая- нечего шляться неизвестно где, пора домой.😂😂😂❤❤😂❤❤

Dog: Look Kitty I ain’t got all day to keep you safe. I’m gonna speed up the process for ya. PS: it’s so awesome seeing a species help a totally different species. My mom use to have a female dog that nursed an abandoned baby raccoon. That raccoon immediately became part of the family too.
