The are absolutely the one of the cutest owls, aside from the Spotted Owl of the Western U.S. They are also "friendlier" towards people than the Great-horned Owl. Burrowing owls are also cute, they have such long chicken legs.

Hi thomasaxe4605! We have one that comes by our house. Many a morning I have woke up to hear him. Hoo hoo hoohoooooooo! Sometimes I answer him. Once he flew right over my head. I love these videos, but sometimes I wonder where these people are getting these owls from. Anyway, I agree with you and may you be safe and well!.🦉🦉😊😊

Also a fun fact; because owls have a different sort of feather to muffle the sound of their flying, they also struggle more to fly when wet. It’s a bit of a trade off!

Wait I thought great horned did that as well. Ive had them swoop at me during the times the juveniles are grown and it is mating season wouldn't make a noise or anything and would swoop down and bat me right on the head luckily I usually wear baseball caps.

The one in the foreground must be a different rescue owl which was later sent back to the wild or to a rehab center. 9:17 Yolka herself.
