My little girl was 3 when she first heard the song sang by TPG. She was so touched she started crying. Now, a year latter, she falls asleep almost every night listening to it. Thank you guys ❤️

I find this song absolutely heartbreaking in its perfection. Jon is mourning his daughter's death whilst playing this song for her. You can SEE his pain in this playing. Bravo, Jon. Bravo.

@@johnadams4102 Yeah the timing fits. This was released on KZfaq about 2 months after they found his daughter. So it was probably being filmed and produced while they were searching for her. It's heartwrenching.

Beautiful arrangement, beautiful music. Our family absolutely loves you guys. Anytime our two-year old daughter hears piano, she yells out "Pi Guys!" Jon, you actually dedicated a song from me to my wife for our 6th anniversary back in 2010...something we'll never forget. We got our tickets to the SLC Christmas concert a few months ago and our kids cannot wait!

Jon intentionally simplifies his playing and picks the best sounding melodies and embellishments. I always loved that he doesn't over do it and "flex." He picks what's sweet to the ear. Some pianists forget that.

This is so beautifully composed and honestly I’d rather listen to this version than the one with Ed Sheehan’s voice (the original). It’s just much more relaxing and filled with emotion. It gave me chills when I would close my eyes because it’s almost like the piano and the piano man were telling some moving story and my brain would just sort of empathize what every note would imply. This was truly one of the pianos guys’ best work. Good job this was a masterpiece 👍🏼👍🏼

I actually heard this before the Ed shearan version. I didn’t know any of the words or what the song was etc..... As much as i like the original, this is so much better.

It's probably the way the lighting focuses only on the pianist and after the song is over all the lights in the restaurant go on again. Just watch La La Land and you'll know what I mean. Lighting is something they have used extensively in that movie.

This is musical beauty at its finest. Not only was it a wonderful combination of serenity & power, but the camera settings were amazing as well, making it look like Jon was playing less for the people around him, and more for himself, as if he was telling a story through his chords. That can just be my look on it, but i loved it anyway. Great job on this video and this cover!! ^_^
