25 years ago today, the infamous fight between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield occurred…and man that doesn’t even seem that long ago which means we are getting old!
But in a special edition of The Pivot, we are sitting down with the legend himself, Mike Tyson in a conversation covering everything from boxing, the highs and lows, evolving, relationships and business endeavors.
Considered the baddest mother f’er on the planet, the respect and admiration spans decades but so do the questions, as Ryan, Fred and Channing dive into the life and legacy not only one of the world's greatest athletes of all time but one of biggest bad asses we've ever seen.
Mike opens up about some of the low moments shaping the man he is today and the transition from athlete to entrepreneur which has helped him get back on his feet after years of trials and tribulations.
Crediting his wife Kiki for a lot of his transformation, Mike goes in depth about evolving, having his heart broken and going to jail, which ironically, he says was the most peace he ever had in his life. Without all the loss, we never would see the rise.
Mike’s new venture of Tyson 2.0 with his cannabis, Tyson bites and chocolates are opened during the episode making for a raw but epic show. And of course, Channing and Mike have to talk about the females over the years and compare stories which has everyone in tears. Tyson also reveals that his recent fights he fought on shrooms and wish he was able to do it during his actual career.
The Pivot releases new episodes at noon eastern every Tuesday with special drops on Fridays at 3pm est. Subscribe to our channel for new updates and extra content.

I agree with this completely. The less interest I take in others, and the less effort I take to be nice to them, the better they seem to treat me. Not saying i'm mean to people. Just less involved.

It’s true. Human relationships are a mirror, nature is a mirror. Humans have been detached from nature, purposely. How? Intuition and Foresight are the two missing senses of the 5 we’re currently being over saturated in. We live in a “Free Will” universe. One of the laws is POLARITY, dualism/duality or opposites: night-day, male-female, hot-cold. Depending on your temperament/temperature, since we’re made of muscle, organs, skin and an electro magnetic atomic processor aka a HEART(EARTH) we attract what we send out with electromagnetic pulses. If you’re temperament/temperature is untrustworthy you attract untrustworthy people. If you’re too trustworthy you attract people who are yes men and kiss asses. You want to achieve equilibrium. Not too hot, not too cold. You want to fly under the radar, stealth mode, smooth sailing. How do you achieve that? Master your circumference. In other words think your own thoughts, love your own life, walk in your own shoes, navigate your own ship, mind your own business.

One of the best interviews out there. You guys are a very special group, Fred, Channing, R.C. , you guys have a special gift and a contagious camaraderie. RC the way your able to carry the conversation and basically narrate while hosting the discussion. Fred’s Questions and affirmations are those of a spirit and soul that understands and elevates in every aspect! Also, Channing; with one of the greatest personalities and outgoing fellas out there. Your knowledge and love of self is a true character trait of a super hero as he is discovering his powers. Thank you guys for being a great example to younger black men like myself who are striving to get to a point where you fellas are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing people out there many ways they can attack life and see the human aspect of our role models that we’ve never got to see or understand their stories from an emotional, yet overwhelmingly inspirational perspective like Mike and many others. Keep fighting the good fight, I PIVOTED with you guys! 😎😤🙏🏾

BRO . Mike Tyson ! This was so authentic lol and RC said “ Shit I need to take one of those shrooms lol 😂 “ this was a great episode and also Mike Tyson has not laughed this much in an interview I’ve ever seen ! They are literally making friends with these guests as they do shows this is crazy !!!🔥🔥🔥

I used to make the same comment on every episode. I'd say how comfortable The Pivot hosts make the guests feel. To the point to where it's not an interview...it's as if it's 4 friends just chopping it up. Yeah. Bro. Tyson looked so comfortable that he was HIGH, LAUGHING, and DROPPING FCUKING GEMS the whole episode.

This was great Fellas! At 42, I’ve been a fan of Mike Tyson since I was 8 yrs old. I too shed a tear when he lost to Buster. But what a revelation when Mike said he felt relief after the loss from all the stress of being undefeated. You guys have a new fan here in the 225. R.C where ya at! Keep up the great job guys.

People think Mike has changed but, he's always been this guy. He's just had to wait all these years for the rest of us to be able to hear him properly. It's a bizarre part of time where we're finally adult enough to see him as human. Everyone is shaped by their experiences but there's lots of footage of Mike saying these kinds of things before he won the title. When Mike spoke like this in his prime, it frightened white people to know he was intelligent. Constantly dropping jewels on reporters that just wanted to poke at him for ratings by trying to portray him as a buffoon. Making it so that Everytime he spoke, it was joke material in the hood, even tho they loved him. He had to get older and seem less dangerous and society had to mature before we could tap in because Mike always corrects misconceptions about what strength is and giving lessons on being humble and the nature of ourselves but nobody wants to hear that because of where he's from, how he looks, and what he does. That's huge.
