Mike Bibby is such a good guy. When I was a kid I was at shriners hospital and wasn’t doing well. Bibby sent me a bunch of memorabilia. Then about a year later he came into an audio store and I followed him around in my little wheelchair bugging him and he was nothing but gracious.

I sat next to his son in one of my college classes without even knowing. Our professor usually made us write our names on a piece of paper to take attendance but one day he didn’t have a piece of paper so he called our names off one by one. When he got to the guy next to me he goes “Mike Bibby” and in my head I’m like “wait. what did he just say??” So after class I asked him if he was related to THE Mike Bibby and he was like “yeah, that’s my dad”😂😂

He's not gonna sniff the HOF, but it doesn't matter. He's known for being a top guard who never made an All Star team. And folks think nowadays players are better than previous eras. Bibby's proof that the league in his era esp at the 1 and 2 spot was legendary. A guy like Jason Richardson for example would be a top player today. He wasn't during the Kobe era.

There's an interview out there with Fat Joe. Where he's telling the story about a charity event he did with Bibby. Somehow, Fat Joe was able to get some kicks from Bibby.
