UPDATE: 9pm voyages on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays are DIRECT to Caticlan. But apparently 9pm sailings on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays make a stop in Odiongan (Tablas Island, Romblon) which entails a longer travel time. (Our trips were all direct, so I missed this detail.)

It is very important to inspect the quality of the sanitation ng lahat Ng common areas if you're traveling, especially the comfort rooms. Hope to see more of this from your channel. Thank you.

There is bus to Batangas Port at LRT Gil Puyat. Best option is DLTB kasi marami siyang bus so less waiting for next bus if masiraan sa daan. Mas konti ang bus ng Jam, Jac, Alps, Ceres at N. dela Rosa. around 268 pasahe ng DLTB as of 2022Oct17 when I took a ride. Before pandemic 9pm to 6am lang ang travel time ng 2Go.

Thanks for sharing, Alex! Very helpful! Oyyy dyan din ako sa DLTB sa Gil Puyat sumasakay ng bus pauwi ng Lemery haha. Pero tagal na rin and di ko na sure kung may pa-Batangas port pa. Buti maraming nag-share din ng alam nila. :) Yung sa travel time, I think dinadagdagan na lang nila ung published na travel time to manage expectations in case ma-delay.

For fur parents this is also a good way to travel so you can bring your fur babies to boracay. Just get vet's certificate within 3 days of travel and make sure complete vaccination ng pet niyo. May bureau of animal industry na sa batangas pier para kumuha ng travel permit.

Good to know that 2Go Ferry can get you to Caticlan-Boracay. Please mention on your blog how much fare and how long it takes for the trip. Medyo Mahaba nga lang mag- ferry ride pero mas mura, di ba? Compared to air flight mas okay na lang siguro mag-flight na lang kasi mag-enjoy ka na Borakay on that same day, walang sayang na oras

I love to 2go ferry, easy at comfortable, lagi ko booked 4 bed cabin end up amin lang may ensuite pa. Till next day na dating mo sa boracay. Overnight and smooth sailing and libre or kasama sa binayad mo na ticket ang lunch meal nila. Ang helpful pa ng mga staff.

Booking Cebu Pacific in advance only cost 3,600 Php/head (regular seat sale which is available year-round and not "Piso-Sale") 2-way including taxes. Basically the same price of Tourist Class with 2Go, that's why I never bothered to book and travel by sea. Plus you don't have to waste 22 hours of travel time 2-way. Also, travelling to Batangas port is another headache compared to using Grab to go to Terminal 3 airport. However, travelling by sea to Caticlan is practical with these circumstances all together: 1) You are on a budget and you are unlikely to secure a "seat sale" from an airline. 2) You need to travel ASAP in which plane a ticket would cost a lot more. 3) You can afford to waste 22 hours (2-way) of travel time because some people have strict vacation time from leave, so if you only have 3 days of leave, say goodbye to 1 day for travel time.

Cebu Pac has a tendency to offload passengers din, esp if you booked via seat sale. Hindi rin siya 100% reliable.

@@terribels I have never experienced that yet. I fly 4 times a year domestic. Have you experienced it? Going to Batangas Port is cumbersome to most people, unless you live in the Batangas area. Not worth it for people living in Metro Manila.

Hi King Fadrix! Thanks for this. Apparently, 9pm voyages on M-W-F do make a stop in Tablas. But those on T-Th-Sa-Su sail directly to Caticlan. All the sailings we have experienced were direct to Caticlan, so I didn't know about this until you brought it up, so thanks! We'll add to the description.

Wow, malaki na talaga pinag bago ng mga barko sa Pinas kumpara dati sa Superferry way back 2000. Sana may passenger drill rin sila bago mag sailing, tulad ng ginagawa namin sa mga pasahero namin sa cruiseship. Hindi kami aalis ng port hanggat hindi tapos ang Passenger Drill. Para alam ng mga pasahero kung anung gagawin in times of tough situation.

when i went to boracay last month dapat pala nag book nalang ako ng 2go pabalik from caticlan, upto 50kg pala baggage allowance nila dami namin iniwan dun na alak sa boracay 🤦
