If you like beaches, go to El Nido. If you want some adventure like mountain hiking, hotsprings, go to Coron. :)

good point on being extra aware about wildlife and nature, coz of the lack of major hospitals nearby these locations. there was one case of a balikbayan kid that was stinged by a jellyfish who unfortunately died. keep it up folks!

I love Coron because of its rich Marine life. Sobrang ganda and buhay na buhay ang mga corals lalo na sa nearby island Culion. If you enjoy snorkeling, definitely Coron will be the perfect destination.

Thank you! Paano po mag book ng bus from Puerto Princesa airport to El Nido? Pwede po ba yun i-book ahead of time or pagdating nalang dun pipila sa bus? Meron po bang private transportation na pwedeng hire para hindi na maghintay ng matagal pag dating sa airport? Thank you po!

Hopefully we get to travel safely again soon. I’ve seen a few videos comparing El Nido and Coron, and yes the opinions vary depending on the person’s perspective. But this video helped me to decide. ☺️ I’ve always loved Palawan, I’ve visited many times but never outside of Puerto Princesa. So I’m looking forward to visitng El Nido during the summer of 2021, since summer 2020 was obviously cancelled.

Coron is better kase mas malapit sa Busuanga, Linapacan at Culion na super ganda ng isla, kumbaga andami nyang katabing isla. Elnido naman maraming beach sa mainland compare kay Coron na puro islands talaga at walang beaches. Maganda ang El nido, kaso private island nalang halos ang may healthy corals unlike Coron na super daming remote islands na katabi

yes...like sa bora nangailangan ako ng med atention para s eyes ng 9pm at wl dn mahanap ung savoy hotel n eye specialist.tigas kc ulo ko din e napasarap tambay s private beach nila e sobrang windy. not wearing shades habang may contact lens ako...malabo kc mata.ayun napuwing at nagasgasan ng mata tpos di k mkbili ointment kc nid ng prescription.mbuti naman after24hr nagself heal n.ky tama po kau ..wag nga makulit mga tourista!always dpat may safety precautions din s part natin insured man o hindi.very informativ tlg mga episodes nyo realy helps a lot

I was just at El Nido for Christmas with my family from Los Angeles. Coming from the U.S with a limited time to spend of 8 days at El Nido, flying to the airport at El Nido was very convenient. Our hotel was only 10 minutes away from the airport which was also very convenient. Unfortunately for us boat tours were cancelled almost every day but we did get to go on Tour B on our 3rd day. We made the most of our time by going on land tours and got to see waterfalls, caves, and plenty of beaches including Nacpan. We went to Bangkok, Phuket, and Singapore after El Nido and was surprised to find that El Nido was the most expensive when it came to food even compared to Singapore which had cheap street food options. It probably didn't help to have 3 American kids who were very picky with food options.

@@burnsg1232 The sea was too rough. The local tour guides said the new coast guard administration for Palawan are more cautious now. They said in the past those kind of sea conditions wouldn't have cancelled all the tours. Hopefully the weather is better when you go. We still had a blast and made the most of the land tours and beach hopping. We were offered to go to Port Barton if we really wanted more boat tours but we decided to stay in the El Nido area.

Hi this is very good comparison between El Nido and Coron. Thanks for your information. Me my friend and aunt would prefer El Nido because of the accessibility and grand scenic vuews though the transpo is a bit longer. HOWEVER, I just have one main concern, how do you find the water and food in El Nido? I read a blog that we must make sure the water are filtered and not to eat raw fruits and veggies. Can you share your thoughts about this. Thank you!

If you planning to go to Coron you should invest a Drone dahil napakaganda sa itaas mas nakaka appreciate ang ganda also invest or rent a Gopro dahil maganda ang snorkling at diving doon.

Having only travelled once to each, yes cOron has more to offer. Recency bias, Maybe El Nido. Mas malapit yung mga bagay, otherworldly pag pasok ng small lagoon. Something magical about it. Nacpan beach is beautiful pero pinapak ng Nik nik hahaha. Ganda ng Pilipinas!

Both have stunning nature. Bar & restaurant scene is better in EN. Many remote beaches accessible by motorbike in EN. Price spectrum of accommodations is wider in EN. But do visit both locations.

In terms of accessibility, if you choose to go with Puerto Princesa Airport when going to El Nido, the travel via van is only Php 550, and the traveling time is 5 hours (at least you'd get to see other municipalities in Palawan you'd passby) Also, believe it or not, me and my friend went to El Nido with each of us having Php 6,000 only HAHAHA Legit poor travelers 😂 ✔️Van transport PPC to El Nido and back ✔️Island Hopping ✔️Cliff Climbing ✔️Eating at restaurants ✔️Going to beaches (no entrance fee, just transport fee) There are many cheap accomodations as well, the accomodation we book was Php 600 for two pax.

Haha YES! We had the same budget when we visit El Nido before. We used to stay at small rooms for rent at the town! (Although later on we tend to spend more because we need to stay longer and try and cover a lot of restos/tours for our blog.)

Planning to go with two 80a parents by myself, they are walking with canes. I just want to bring them to see sunset (not sunrise, they can not wake up too early) and enjoy the beach. Do u recommend the tour package from Coron to El Nido with stop&stay at Linapacan? It is quite expensive po kse, hehehe, compared to the tour package fr Coron to El Nido via ferry. I mean, do u think it’s ok ti skip Linapacan island?
