American classic hard cover versions are the best. They are my favorite! The big size, the design, the details and the fact that there’s an illustration at the beginning of each chapter is amazing!

I've been approved to go for it... the problem is that I have to bring all of my books to a public location to be counted. That's a lot of book moving. Hoping to get it done this summer.

The Potter Collector Oh and did you know (and I realize there is a very high chance you DID know, considering what you do), that the Hungarian editions changed the names of Cornelius and the "snitch" after the first book? In the first it was translated Cornelius Badarus (badar/badarság means "nonsense" in Hungarian), changed to Cornelius Caramel. And the snitch was csikesz (pronounced cheek-ass lol), changed then to cikesz (tseek-ass).

I have never had the collector mind set for anything in my life. When I got married my husband was a collector and he had to help me understand it. Luckily, finding your videos has also helped me to understand how happy it can make someone. Many times I watch your videos simply because of the joy you exude. As someone who loves art and books, in general, I really enjoyed this video.

1:56 That alternative cover looks so good! I wish they would've chosen this instead of the other one. I searched a bit on the Internet and turns out that Half-Blood Prince also has an alternative cover that was given to a few people. I'm so jealous of you for having this book! 😂

I don’t collect Harry Potter books or even just Harry Potter stuff in general, but my mum was a giant book nerd when she was younger, so she bought Harry Potter when it originally came out. She gave her copies to me, so I have original Harry Potter books, which I love - because they have original artwork as well.

What an amazing collection, Peter. Thanks for sharing. Book collecting is addictive. I collect Harry Potter books, but the different ones such as the artwork, film vault etc. I do have some different versions of the novels though like the Jim Kay special editions and Mina Lima. They are beautiful books.

When you want to read the series, is there a specific set of books that you use just for reading to keep the others in good condition, or do you like reading through different collections? German, YES! Fun fact: the spell edition (I own it myself) includes half an extra chapter. In PoA. The chapter were Lupin reveals everything...I also love the greek ones. I bought GoF in greek (my fav book)

I love that you collected all the books in the languages! Also, i feel sooo jealous everytime i see the hardcover of the harry potter books Coz i read them all (and still am even though i know everything) on the kindle

Absolutely love this channel and your dedication to the series! Have you ever considered the physical audiobook collections? If not why? 14:37 Эх, раньше у меня было Черное Издание "Black Edition", но в ней не хватало седьмой книги. Нигде не смог найти ее у себя, чтобы завершить коллекцию. В итоге продал, чтобы не мозолили глаза. Сейчас, если искать у коллекционеров, за них предлагают бешенные деньги, так как это еще и "РОСМЭН". С появлением перевода от "МАХАОН", с ужасной адаптацией имен, "РОСМЭН" на вес золота )
