India has world's most evil neighbours. Can't get away from these two nations. Indian security establishment should not plan and act for short term challenges. It must have a very very very long-term perspective. We should prepare accordingly and try to never caught in surprise again as happened last Year in Galwan our Bhutan. Need lot of Firepower, surely a robust functioning economy and Effective trustworthy military alliances. Can't afford with level of pathetic politics playing down by Yogi Modi Shah...no space for communal disharmony, shallow caste politics and misuse of state institutions like ED, CBI, RBI and Judicary by ppl in power. It's high time to wake up. Fight or perish.

Indian Media and a lot of Western Media underestimates the growing strength and global influence of China. It is estimated that by 2030 Chinese GDP will be twice of US and more than US and Europe combined. Yes, per capita gdp will still be lower than the west but with size comes influence that military strength cannot replace. For example Russia is still a great military power but a lagging economic power. Take another example- Australia although a US ally has China as its largest trading partner and that portion is increasing, will the US have the same influence among its own allies in the future? Anyway, west has lost the plot and India is too small a fry for China, mostly a distraction to their border than anything else.

Informative analysis from Shekhar. China is no doubt a major military power next only to USA but it must be noted that India, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea etc. are not push overs. In Galwan, Indian Army showed PLA its limitations and effectively put them on the defensive. Though India cannot fight a long drawn war with China, it can effectively repulse any Chinese attack in a short war. And India is also now seriously matching up Chinese capabilities and it will be in a good position to take on China in next 5 years. Even Taiwan is a difficult ball game for China. It would have to suffer enormous consequences for occupying it. While Hong Kong was allowed to be gobbled up, USA and others will resist taking over of Taiwan.

I would really want this to be true. But China is decades ahead in Nuclear arsenal, fighter jets, tanks, destroyers and other military equipments like jammers and so on. We were hardly able to save face in the Galwan skirmish. China has always been a bully and will continue in their quest. But assuming we can beat them in a short war is a dangerous ploy. The only way for India to survive is for International intervention.

Writing a science fiction Novel is not uncommon . But realising the fiction to reality is questionable. The realities remain unchanged 1. Army of lowest operational experience 2. @@chanakya_nan my comment is specific to the science fiction description of their army and their so-called strategies. Coming to the ground situation . We are in Pakistan’s Siachen situation when it comes to Aksai chin . Ground once lost is lost it can’t be taken back . But I don’t believe in fresh take overs as the LAC more or less remains the same over the last 50 years and the confrontation is mostly about blocking of ground petrols towards the claim lines ( after all the entire Aksai chin is claimed by india ). So far China just didn’t gain anything from bullying tactics , the high noise is just a political mess .

Lol 1. Same thing can be said about Indian army. Last real strategic conventional war Indian army fought was back in 1971 Bangladesh liberation war. 1999 kargil war was more like a tactical operation limited to certain peaks. Tactical Anti terrorist operations in JK & NE are entirely different from strategic conventional wars. 2. Same thing true about India under modi government. Many retired army officers already written many articles about politicisation of army. Many army officers are joining ruling party/politics after retiring. many of them are trying to please these interest groups while they are in services 3. Lol these "courage" thing is pure b u l l s h i t propaganda. It's similar to "one Indian equal 100 Chinese" type b u l l s h i t propaganda. Olympics medal tally shows different picture. : Why you think only Indians have courage to fight? Indian history shows a very different picture. Most of North India was under foreign rule for around 750 years (1192-1947). :while Chinese fought against western colonial powers in opium wars and boxer rebellion, Indians helped these colonial powers to invade neighbouring countries like china Myanmar Afghanistan etc and also fought for them in WW1 WW2 etc. : Origin of Indian army is colonial in nature. It's formed to serve British colonial masters.its formed to oppress common people in India for British colonialist. Even after independence supreme commanders of all 3 forces were British. The same people who held gun against Indians before 1947 became heroes after 1947. Stories from NE JK etc indicate that they are still in their colonial hangover. PLA formed from common people peasant and workers during nanjing uprising, an armed civil resistant movement against oppression. : things that determine outcome of a war are technology of weapon system, strategy, willingness to fight, economy, manufacturing capability etc 4. Guptaji already mentioned about loss of territory in Depsang plains in previous videos. Indian and Chinese soldiers met at y junction during new year sweet exchange. Which means Chinese are in control of area's beyond y junction(PP11,PP12 etc). India used to patrol these area's before early 2020.

PLA is now in control of 1,000sqkm of eastern Ladakh. Refocus your gaze......

I seriously don’t believe in Chinese bragging. The way they remained silent after Galwan incident simply proves that their soldiers are not war ready, their machines might be. We should derive conclusion on what the PLA has done and not what they are capable of doing, so far they have men and machines which are are not battle hardened. Just because they have practiced hard in the nets does not mean they will win the world championship. The beauty of India is it remains stable inspite of its high instability whereas China has never tested its people yet.

PLA SMS sounds like a strategy paper for tech company that is trying to expand the market while trying to maintain profitability. What is important for India is to understand that China's lust for neighbour land (Xi's version of Lebensraum) is not satiated and they will continue to challenge status quo inch by inch. India needs to be remove dependence on Chinese imports and forge stronger bond with West, the only power Chinese seem to bother about. Else a large parts of our boundary will perish or remain in continual state of war.

China is one country which has overwhelming Haan Chinese ethnicity also Chinese know that for global dominance economy is the first and foremost then comes militry or any other things !! Also economic prosperity has made Chinese society contented and trust on communist party establishment!!

Tell me something, when Shekhar has already said that this is actually put up by China in the open, not that it is leaked or anything. If that is the case, how much weightage should be given to this document? Now I do understand that we can read only what is published and provided, but still, how much of it can be a ploy to confuse and how much of it can be construed as sincere guidance to its army?

China has brought world economy to its knees thanks to pandemic. West had already increased military spending to 2% of GDP and must have lost more in feeding its people during lockdowns. Now they are feeding the MIC by claiming success in hypersonic and other such fancy warfare. Tensions will keep Oil prices high while it gets its supplies at a discount from sanctions crippled Iran and remote Russian East. China also faces a demographic cliff as the workforce which got them out of poverty retires and their single educated child joins in their place. They will have to use automation and robots in the workforce and armed forces. Why should they want more territory and destroy their wealth like the old empires shows that they need to have continuous external distractions to keep their people under control. The real strike will be when they take on the US dollar and US economy is able to readjust to lower dollar value. The first currency is being fired even as we speak. Many countries will go under.

Indian security requires our ability to overcome the obstacles to production and security of locally produced products- are mainly self inflicted wound of labor and other laws, hyperactive environmentalist and NGO, Capricious judiciary and very noisy politicians. Our people are fine entrepreneurs and innovators but we have seen lots of roadblocks from political fraternity. We need a unified state and central government of single or aligned parties ( Double Engine) and strong but reasonable opposition. Given where congress is another two terms of NDA at center and more friendly parties instead of Uddav, Mamatha, Stalin who can see national well being than regional hegemony and family dynasty will help. With Rahul, Mamatha, Stalin and Uddav country cannot focus on its security and development. Nothing can come in WB, Stalin allows only his family industry, Neo -Convert to secularism /family dynasty Uddah have stopped all projects y ( Aeray tree is one example). Rahul is a mean disruptor and UPA was disaster in security as admitted by AK Antony.
