Simple ways to connect your self with Allah.... Pray 5 times Recite Qur'an Give charity Do not hurt anyone Help people Ask for forgiveness every day Do daily dikr insha'Allah you will feel peace and you will be on right path and these acts can lead us to jannah insha'Allah.islam is very easy.

Now when I read the coran , I just have the impression that he speaks to the prophets, not to me. I don't know what to do, I no longer have this connection with him.

Allah Subhana Wata’alla speaks to everyone of us through the Quran. Quran is like our guide book to scale through life for a fulfilled and halal way. Try to open your heart to Allah while reciting the Quran and you will feel something different. Salam

Our Emaan does fluctuate sister. Make Dua for Allah to give you guidance and keep seeking his forgiveness. It might be a point to think about certain challenges/tests you have faced in this world and relate it to prophets who have had similar difficulties. It may seem counterproductive, but it will be a link that may help build you up again…In Sha Allah Do not lose hope my precious sister, I too struggle, but know that this too is part of our test. You have just shown Allah that you are seeking help and want to reconnect with the Quran. Not giving up is proof of your Emaan and the love Allah has for you, for He only tests those whom He loves…Alhamdulillah ❤

The problem isn't the connection the problem is within us it's our own IMAAN that has weakned and we always tell ourselves maybe Allah dosent care about us or we don't have that connection with Allah but NO THATS WRONG and we as Muslims should never say that because Allah is always with us in every moment of our lives and is testing us even now and wants to see if we pass this test in this Dunya and the main purpose of being in this Dunya is to reconnect with your lord whose name is Allah the most Merciful and most forgiving.

Reported by Zayd ibn Arqam : From a dua made by the Prophet ﷺ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ، وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min ‘ilmil la yanfa’ wa min qalbin la yakhsha' wa min nafsil la tashba' wa min da’watil la yustajabu laha O Allah, I seek refuge from knowledge which does not benefit, And from a heart that is not submissive to you/fearful of you, And from a soul that does not feel contented And from a supplication that is not answered (Muslim)
