"We don't even pay attention to the fact that we're all fundamentally humans. That we just take for granted." Spot on. It's this fundamental truth which must be rediscovered and lived. Human evolution is both unitive and complexifying, yet we've become unconscious of our inherent unity.

Noam Chomsky’s human nature is to be free and independent, Yes, but also to be members of groups. Maybe his advice is to be puzzled if you want to be a creative person.

Would you please call Noam back. We really need to ask him: What is the path forward for Israel & Palestine. Please, you have him number & psychology is the key. So you can add insight into how to safely unwrap the rigid ego on an individual level & rebuild with better pillars. Please Scott!!!

What I would like to see is someone asking Noam Chomsky the 10 things we need to change to have a real American, votor info books, vote by mail, plan to go 80% WWS, publicly funded elections, money out of politics, increasing the amount of democracy in our everyday lives including schools, cops…these are the things Noam knows and he’s got the plan in his head that is wise. That would be an awesome interview, if he ruled the world, how would it be different, his wish’s seem like they would be smart, well thought, clear. Get someone to ask him that please. @biden!

Did Chomsky seriously compare working at Amazon and having a 5 minute break with living under Stalin?

@@Besthinktwice Yeah I remember when I worked at Target and had to wear red and take short breaks and thought, "Man I might as well be in Nazi Germany!" The comparison is absolutely ridiculous to the point of being embarrassing. Thought control, secret police, state approved education and literature only, being murdered or imprisoned for not conforming, etc - this was life under Stalin. Yes obviously there are issues with capitalism but ridiculous, ironically dogmatic false analogies are not the best means of advancing the discussion.
