We were just at Universal at the end of June and I talked to a cast member about the Harry Potter stamps. She informed me that did to Covid and supply chain shortage they had stopped making the Harry Potter stamps but Universal is currently in negotiations with the post office to get them back.

That’s good to know! That’s the first time we did the post cards so we didn’t know they used to have them. We were shocked when she handed me normal stamps! Lol

@@ThePughTwo I love idea of getting USA postage stamps that are Harry Potter themed, on a side note Anna you were not completely wrong, even with the non-themed USA postage stamp you still get the Hogsmead Post Office stamp on your letter.

Hello Pugh Two, When I watched your video I couldn't wait to tell you about the HP stamps, but Monica beat me to it! The last time I was there I had to go to the 2nd HP Post office to get the stamps so I bought three packs of them! I sent the postcards with the HP postmark & will use the remaining stamps on my Christmas cards! I hope that they are able to get them again. Enjoy your videos, thanks!

I thought it was totally cool that you could have the Hogsmeade stamp added to your mail you send out. When we were there they told us that they were out of Hogwarts castle stamps, so I guess that is a thing? We are planning on going back to Universal in December. We had such a great time during our first trip in October! Love Universal!

If I'm not mistaken, I believe you can buy a mail-able "howler" of Molly giving Ron grief. It may not be the quoted one from the movie, but can be found under that breezeway/pavillion where you can buy other such items. At least that's what I understand anyway. Saw it from an "allears" vlog a while back.

To the left of the 3 broomsticks and it looks like you are going to a cast member area you can hear the dishes being washed. You can also see candy from Honeydukes shop. When you look in the window at dogweed and deathcap (to the left of the wand spot and left of the mandrakes) I think that's a replica of the cactus that Neville carried around. At the backside of Dervish and Banges there's a replica of the triwizard cup trophy in the window (there's two windows there and it's the window on the left, the window on the right has the different house cups and sweater vests)

Now I will admit that personally I’m not a big fan of Harry Potter. Never read the books and not a fan of the movies as a whole. My daughter loves everything Harry Potter though! But even I love the wizarding world!! The level of detail and quality is second to none in any other theme park! Our next trip I’m planning to have one full day just to spend at hogsmead and diagonalley

The next time y'all mail a postcard from the Wizarding World, stamp and fill out the postcard at home (since you already have them now!) and then you can just get it post marked once you get there. You can also mail postcards at the front of Islands of Adventure in the port of entry area. Which I'm sure you know, but if you didn't now you do!

So, the owl post. We thought they had themed stamps, and we had mailed one to ourselves, and sure enough the stamp is Hogwarts Castle. Wife says you have to ask for the special stamps and they're more.

Great Video! I knew a few of those - especially about Moaning Myrtle. I was moaning right along with her after a no breakfast- back to back walk on onto Forbidden Journey then finished myself off with one time on Dueling Dragons! I was moaning right along with Myrtle in the bathroom 🤣 I will be looking for some of these on our next visit!

Some awesomeness cubed in this video (HP, Universal, and of course the Pugh Two). Tyler's Moaning Myrtle impression was awesome but I honestly thought he was going to fake us out and just go "vroom, vroom, I'm a motorcycle" instead lol. I wanted him to do an impression of Mrs. Weasley (at least the "Ronald Weasley, where have you been?" That would have been a lot of fun lol. I can't believe I saw your IG story too late to be the first to respond so no post card from Hogsmeade from the Pugh Two for me but still a wonderful video!

I can't remember when I bought my postcards and stamps but I have 3 stamps left and they are all the castle. They are 55 cent stamps so I don't know if the price of postcards went up and maybe that is why they aren't selling them or ?? but just fyi - they at least used to have themed stamps.

@@ThePughTwo I have only gone during/since the pandemic so I guess I got lucky and got on with the last of the supply. I went to Uni for the very first time ever in Feb 2020, got crazy sick, stayed in my hotel room for a week (then in bed at home for 3 weeks after that), and then all of a sudden everyone was talking about covid. So I picked a perfect time to become a passholder. LOL I'm glad I was able to get some of those castle stamps then!! And I think they should bring them back because there's nothing magical about muggle stamps. :(

Question! Do y’all know if the T Rex is back in the river Adventure ride? We were there in April, and the T Rex was missing! Was it down for maintenance, just not working? Just wondering if y’all knew why! Hopefully it’ll be working when we go in September! Hope y’all are doing well!

Do you know if you can buy single stamps at the Owl post? I'm from Canada and I really want to mail myself a postcard while on my trip but I won't be able to use the remaining stamps. If not, then I suppose I'll have to send some friends some letters haha!

Unfortunately they only sell them in a book, but I think I said in the video the book of stamps was about $11. So not unreasonable!
