2 жыл бұрынIn this video we visit Dollywood and take you along for the fun! We only live a few hours away from Dollywood and Pigeon Forge Tennessee, but we rarely visit! This is the first time we've been to Dollywood in FIVE years! We're excited to see how this park compares to the Universal Orlando Resort and see if Dollywood is really worth visiting or not! In this video, we spend the entire day walking around Dollywood 2022 riding all the coasters, eating some of the DELICIOUS Dollywood food, and we even get to see Dolly Parton herself! Come join us on this adventure to see if Dollywood is really worth visiting or not!

Would love to see more Dollywood content. I grew up in this park. The first time I went as a kid it was called Goldrush Junction. Later it became Silver Dollar City and then Dollywood. The early days were western mining town themed with the train, saloon show and a log flume ride. They then added Blazing Fury, a flooded mine ride, the river rampage and a few other rides. You can still see remnants of the old theme. The overhead water trough that runs down the hill and to a small pond near the train depot is the old “mining sluice” and of course The Blazing Fury characters are 1800s western theme. The general store across from the train depot was the saloon. Lots of memories. Thanks for the videos.

Great video as usual, guys! I talked my 7 year old daughter into riding Dragonflyer earlier this year as an intro rollercoaster. She loved it and now she’s pumped to ride Hagrid’s when we go in September 😜

We live about 30 minutes from Dollywood. Not only did I work there but they have what’s called “home schoolers day” and you have a day of “classes” that you get to make all the different hand made items that you don’t get to as a regular guest.

My Home Park of Bush Gardens Williamsburg will never let you down. But I will say going to Hershey Park is a must do. Just for the smells alone..

A new theme park just opened up here in Iowa about a week and a half ago. It's called Lost Island, and is an extension to a well-established water park, but now they have a larger area with various rides and attractions.

My favorite ride is definitely Lightning Rod. I rod it in 2019 when it was all topper track. I can’t wait to go back and see how it feels now that more than half has been converted to I-Box track. Dollywood is awesome. If you like Dollywood, you should try Silver Dollar City in Branson Missouri. It is owned by the same people. Silver Dollar City is more rustic, and it has the same fresh food and cinnamon bread. The also have the only extreme spinning Coaster in North America. In there train ride, there is a show where the train gets robbed.

Knotts Berry Farm in California isfamous for their Fried Chicken and rides. They are our popular for their festival and Halloween event. Also Cedar Point in Ohio is famous for their roller coaster

Gah guys!! This made my heart so happy! Dollywood is so amazing! I grew up going and it amazes me every trip all the new things they add. I love the fair area and the train..is my castle. It literally makes me cry with happiness. I wish some things were still there for you guys to experience that I grew up doing

Dollywood was the first theme park I ever went to as a kid! It will always have a special place in my heart! Even though I live in east Tennessee, I’m not able to get to the park very often. Happy to see yall enjoying it! I agree that it is a very underrated park and more people should check it out. I would love to see a Kings Island video someday!

Oooohhh! Yeahhh!! I would like to see more Dollywood since I have plans to visit with some friends. My sister and I ALWAYS watch your Universal videos and really enjoy them. I would like to see all the fun things to do in Dollywood. Do they still have the HUGE iron skillet that they cook home fries in? I remember that and a little shop where I made a glass windchime out of scrap glass from their stained glass projects. I'm so rambling! Thanks for the video!

They were using that food area for some of the seasonal items, but they usually do! We were a little sad we didn’t get to try it out! We had so much fun, and we got AP’s so we might head back later this year!

So, I will say I loved this video. It's definitely cool to see something different! I love universal, but this was pretty rad! So we have a few smaller theme parks up here in NH, but the main one most know is Canobie Lake Park. They actually have this rooster swing that is like the hummingbird one there. Now that I'm recalling the park, their rides are also a bit shorter as well! They do have a really cool water ride I know Anna would LOVE! Oh, and before I forget, there is a ride called Untamed.. it's one of my favorites but it's like a quarter the size (height and duration) of Rip Ride Rocket. As always, great video. I loved all the happiness and pure excitement.

If you ever find yourselves in the Toronto area you can go to Canada’s Wonderland! It has one of the highest coasters in the world and the highest dive coaster. Not gonna lie, it would probably be terrifying for Anna 😂 The dive one doesn’t pair well with a fear of heights. I’d enjoy a delicious Beavertail while Tyler rides it lol

Y’all are making me want to head to Dollywood! Such a fun park and we have never taken our kids before.. You need to come meet us at Carowinds in NC! Maybe even during as Scarowinds or the holidays. Seriously, our treat!

We watched everything you put out when we were planning our Universal Studios Orlando vacation this year. Loved running into you while we were there in January. So, when we were considering Dollywood for our vacation next year, you were the first ones we went looking for. Thank you so much for doing something on this park! You both looked like you enjoyed your vacation there so much, we can't wait to go next year! We really hope you go in Fall so we can see what it is like when we are planning on going. The Harvest Festival looks really fun in Dollywood. Also, thanks for using terminology I can relate to: cinnamon bread...butterbeer of Dollywood...I'm so eating this! For other parks you may be interested in, if you are ever in Hershey, PA, try checking out Hershey Chocolate World and Hershey Amusement Park (don't go on the weekend, standing room only!). Since you are in Orlando often, have you ever been to Discovery Cove? Looking forward to more of your videos. Please keep up the great work!

Great episode as always. You guys need to check out Kings Island in Mason OH, the have a great line up of coasters and family rides. They are also doing a 50th anniversary firework and drone show every night. The Diamondback is my favorite ride but the Beast is a must do. Both even better at night.

Man, I lived my whole life in East Tennessee (Oak Ridge) and went to Dolly Wood all the time. A few years ago I had to move away and I miss Dollywood so much. Glad you guys had fun

This was such a fun video! My wife and I have never been to Dollywood but it looks like we should go lol. I told my wife about the glass blowing and she was excited. I definitely want a lot of Universal content of course but I would love more Dollywood videos too. I'm looking forward to the food video!

I love Dollywood! I started going there when it was Silver Dollar City before Dolly bought it. She has done a phenomenal job with the park! My favorite ride is the Blazing Fury because I've ridden it since I was a kid. My next favorite was the Mountain Slidewinder, which is, sadly, no longer there. I haven't been to Dollywood in 7 years. It's time to go back!! Thanks for the video!

I used to have Dollywood APs for several years. Post Covid, I got a Universal Orlando AP instead. I will probably get one for Dollywood next year. I love going there for Christmas.

Looove that you covered one of my fav non-theme parks, thank you! Please cover Pigeon Forge, it’s such a fun area. If you want suggestions for parks, we are from Canada and travel to parks around the world. In your general area we have LOVED Holiday World in Indiana, Hersheypark in PA, Knoebels in PA and Kings Island, southern Ohio. Or…. Come to Canada’s Wonderland! We have 17 coasters and a beautiful park!

Love this! Thank you for covering Dollywood! I’m unfortunately going to miss HHN this year, but decided to drive over to Dollywood this fall instead since it’s closer. This will be my 1st visit as an adult. Really looking forward to it! Plan to be there Sept 23rd & 24th which is the start to their Harvest Festival. 🎃

We love Dollywood and the harvest festival! If you’re there the first weekend of the festival, my best advice is to pack your patient pants. It can be long waits for food due to crowds and the staff working out kinks. I hope you have a great time!

You must come to Dollywood for Great Pumpkin Luminights. The park is literally decorated with thousands of highly dedicated and carved pumpkins. Then, come back for Smoky Mountain Christmas! The park is decorated with over 5.5 million lights and amazing Christmas shows.
