Salekhard is a region where oil and gas are produced. Most people work in this industry and their earnings are high. Since Salekhard is the north of Russia, logistics are very expensive there and prices are very expensive. But Russia is big and different. In each region of Russia, everything is different.

Sad to note that present generation of Russians have little knowledge of India. Whatever they know about India is either wrong or negative. India and Russia being well wishers of each other, both Govts need to disseminate correct and positive information to their populace to make them aware. Only through that, the friendship of the people could be sustained.

itll be really good if millions of mediocre idiots spend their own dumb money and leave india for good. as it is due to the migration of idiots abroad for a long time (from states like punjab, andhra etc), the name of india is spoilt in many developed countries. visa requirements have been tightened to a great extent because of a bad track recordin terms of integrity. quality of life in india will improve without useless incompetent people around in many metro cities. problem with many mediocres is that they think they all deserve a great life without hard work or building competence. russia is mostly an empty country, with minimal services..its good to migrate there if you can survive.
