So...When our overlords stare at us, they're talking to us and don't realize that we're not receiving their telepathic commands. No wonder they sometimes look disgusted; they must think we're desperately stupid.

My cat for sure loves me! I'll go to work, then come home. She follows me everywhere I go talking to me, I can't even go to the bathroom without her lol. She will actually freak out outside the bathroom door just to get to me! 😆

My Grandma's longtime best bud and baby passed away, and she was really lonely without her. I went out and adopted a kitten to surprise her with. She's in love, her tux is her baby, she spoils that cat. Unfortunately for me but great for my Grandma she was adopted just before lockdown. So, now every time I see my Grandma, she sits in the doorway, just enough so I can see her eyes, and stares at me eyes half closed and moving around with me like "Who the hell are you?! I had a cat that while I was on fl studio he would look carefully, for more than 1 hour sometimes, while I was mixing and producing, looking attentively to every movement of my hands without distracting for nothing. It was too funny how interested he seemed to be watching me over the desk. After sometime he simply disappeared and never came back I think he's somewhere using the knowledge he learned to start his own musical career.

My sister fat cat used to swat at anything that moved in a hateful manner and one day after years of anger she just waltzed up to me on the couch and climbed on my chest and just sat on it and started purring and she just stared at me but she looked angry. I have 2 cats. Oreo is a black and white male cat. I have known him for 8 years. He has been my cat for 7 years. Even before he was my cat, he would look in my eyes. We have always had a connection through our eyes. When he looks in my eyes, I feel love from him. My other cat, Bella, is a female Siamese Lynx Point. I have known her for about 8 years, and she has been my cat for about 6 years. She almost never looks in my eyes. She is friendly to me now. She has been a lap cat for about 5 years now. She wants me to pet her, and she often sleeps with me. The only time she looks in my eyes is when Oreo is doing something she doesn't like, and she wants me to make Oreo to stop doing it.

I knew all those ,but it took a long while to understand them ,it requires real good observation skills !!! And when you don't know much about the particular animal & he / she gets sick ,or injured & you got no idea what he/ she's trying to tell you ,that'll be a huge trouble !! I had those incidents with a rabbit ,birds ( not my choice ,my sister got them when we were teens ,I am against having birds in cages or fish in tanks ,so on ! ) fish , a lizard & turtles ,so on ,back then .Simply because I didn't know well about them ,if I did back then ,they'd had lived for a much longer time ,many more years !!! My cat stares at me for a number of reasons - in order of frequency 1. Rapprochement. He wants second breakfast or afternoon tea or second dinner. 2. Anger. He hasn't had dinner quickly enough. 3. Scared. Maybe a loud noise and he stares at cat daddy to check if it is ok. Usually a 'its ok satisfies him' 4. Admiration. Only once. I caught a possum on his balcony by it's tail and swung it around to discourage repeated intrusions and then swung it into a bush. He was clearly Wow cat daddy is the greatest I wish I could do that! 5. Rapprochement 2. A rat came up a tree to his balcony and as quick as anything he whipped out and grabbed it by the neck with all canines. Whilst I support rodent reduction in my building there is rodent baiting. So almost as quick as catus felis tabius I picked him up and tried to shake rat out of his maw while the rat swished his ratty tail against my hand. Half an hour later he dropped rat out of his maw and I bundled him inside and closed the cat door. Ditto with balcony pigeons. My only objection there is I am still finding feathers from the last one he dragged in through the cat door. In all cases he clearly thought cat daddy was a spoilsport. 6. Boyish rough and tumble. He clearly thinks that I am a boy so I should be up for a bit of rough and tumble with claws and fangs. Doesn't do this ever with cat mommy because she's a girl. 7 Are you OK? Sometimes you hurt yourself stubbing a toe or such. He looks at me with great concern if i express pain. Its nice of him and he rubs me up to make it better. 8. WTF? Sometimes he stares without any obvious reason. I think it is just to shake me up cause thats what cats do. Unless he is by a door and then it is obvious.

I'm pretty sure mine stare because they feel sorry for me. I have to get my own food, clean my own bathroom, I have to use water and soap to take a bath and bless my heart, I don't have fur, I can't nap all day because I have to work. They do find my computer fascinating and they do enjoy that since I work from home, I can change the channels on the TV for them. The 2 year old, Milo, might be my BFF, but the bit is psychotic, I'm not sure I want to know what going on in his head.

My 2nd cat with my family had a very special bond with me when he was a stray cat. He was a happy cat with his family and even with our 1st cat,too. He did showed his belly and his paws curled up and even showed a happy face. When he was crying in the bathtub he had a cancerous tumor in his body or in the shower. My parents knew something was wrong with him. The last time that I had him on my lap. He curled up on my lap. He spent the night with my sister for the last snuggle. He got put to sleep in March of 1994. My family had him a little bit over 12 years of friendship with him. He was a wonderful friend and a pet.

He's probably trying to hypnotize you into getting more Temptations and catnip. I had to stop buying Temptations because they must put cat crack in that stuff. My cat is also a catnip stoner. I actually just planted some fresh catnip outside so I can finally make my dream come true of having a live sweater full of beautiful cats!
