If you're a hockey person, how do you have a dry eye watching this draft stuff? What a dream it must be for these girls. I run a private league that fully supports and encourages women to play, and we have a ton of women who are in the league, including my wife. I'm a huge fan of women's hockey. Good luck with the league!

Looking forward to rooting for the New York team! Billie Jean King was an excellent choice for an advisory role and as a draft day spokesperson. Her iconic role in the history of women's sports, name recognition, participation in World Team Tennis (I rooted against her Philadelphia Freedoms!) and her steadfast pursuit of equity for women make her perfectly suited to represent this new venture! Here we are, less than three months from puck drop, and most people have no idea that there was a draft or that this league even exists. I'm talking about regular hockey people. In Canada. I've been asking around. Your marketing people, if you have any, need to be fired. The 269 subscribers on this channel are not going to cover the costs. 269. I was shocked to see that you chose to have BJK as your celeb of choice at the inaugural draft. Why would you choose a selfish woman like that who has zero relevance to hockey and has never played a team sport? Especially given all the great female hockey legends that are out there. That was shameful. Stop making this about women's rights and start making it about a quality entertainment product that people are aware of and want to watch. Hopes and dreams are not a sound business plan. Hire quality professionals to run the show. Because that's what it is. A show. It would appear that you haven't figured that out yet. And that's a shame because the talent on the ice is there and those players deserve better leadership. Keep this up and the inaugural draft will be the final draft. "Deja vu all over again."

BJK is on the Advisory Board so thats probably why she was there. Agree the marketing is trash... i'm a hockey fan living in Minneapolis and only found out about this because someone posted the logo on reddit. I feel like team names, logos, unis, and schedule should be out by now so ppl can buy merch and tickets.

It's at 51k subs now, and all the NHL commentary channels are gassing up the league. They have been braking records no one would have thought. Actually, it allows contact, unlike the NHL.
