Tommy is a down to earth 6ft5 cheeky Swedish viking who always makes you laugh and your eyes are burning looking at him.😍 And its Yo han son meaning son of Johan I know as a Swede. And I must say this Queen cover is the best I ever heard. Freddie smiles in heaven:

@Kent Lundberg That's clever...bc of my own last name... my mom's father was Scandanavian but my Vikings were Lakota Sioux Indians... I can shoot a long bow, and ride a horse. Altho w my arthritis, neither sound like a good idea! I'll stick to training cats!

@Kent Lundberg I have a diverse heritage and large bag of useless skills! Oh, no, my friend! Cats are very trainable! I trained my (now almost 9yrs old) kittens to be Emotional Support Animals..they are certified. They follow both hand signals and voice commands and do cool tricks like fetch and high fives! And I have a feral cat that I've tamed and integrated into the house...he dances w me! I fostered, last spring, a litter of 4 boys, The Nightwish kittens, (named after members) that I also trained as ESA's...they all are taking care of their humans, and I still visit to work out any behavior issues...but they really didn't have any bc they were perfect, smart and so loving!

As a Queen fan I know I`m a bit sceptical when someone covers Freddie. Only two had my aproval. George Micheal and Marc Martèl.....but now there is Tommy.......... so nr. 3 is a fact...... and his looks make me laugh as well. Just like Floor , he has an expressive face and I like that.

Tommy is a such a goofball (in a good way). He's fun to watch...always hamming it up for the camera. His showmanship id off the charts, and his singing and musicianship is top notch as well. Cheers!

This gets emotional for me. Freddie was skin and bones when he recorded this song in one take which was his last ever with Queen. He poured himself a huge vodka and Brian May was worried both about the size of the drink and the challenge of the song. Freddie said "Just watch me, daahling", swept the vodka and nailed this song OT. Here comes Tommy and elevates it. I do believe Freddie approves of this amazing rendition. Plus he records all instruments himself and mix and master it.

Love Freddy because its his song and he lived it. But Tommy too much did a righteous job. Of course, Dimash Kudaibergen, having learned the song 8 hrs prior to performing it, barely able to speak English, and not a rocker per se, does an incredible take on it. Its really hard to compare...all great...but for me, Dimash gets my vote overall. Enjoying your reactions. I feel they are pretty genuine and you are a lovely person to boot!

Tommy is just incredibly talented, but I have another suggestion for you. Tommy's friend and bandmate from Majestica, Chris David, had a new band called Wizdoom (he is still in Majestica too) and they just released a song called Way Of The Lost. It's a beautiful song worth checking out, Tommy also made a little promo for them in his last video

OK, I NEVER thought anyone could top Dimash and I still won't say my favorite but I'm soooo loving Tommy that I have to give them both a "thumbs up", ouch that's really a tough one, they are both GREAT! This was Freddie Mercurys swansong: he recorded it while dying from Aids. He was Queens frontman while having a, for the time, highly socialy stigmatizing disease. He tried to hide the signs of the deadly sickness with makeup and a happy face. The show must go on... He finally announced the truth of his condition the day before he died.

Yes, you are correct. The J is pronounced as a Y in Eastern and Northern European languages. I think I was the one that made thar comment on your previous video. In fact, 20 years ago I was a member of a WWII war gaming community, and one of the modders who was from Australia, iirc, did some mods for the Soviet (Russian) stuff and he uploaded them to the mod site spelled Sovjet [something something]. So I asked him, "What's up with this Sovjet thing," and he said, isn't that the way it's spelled? And I was like, "No. I've never seen that in my life." So apparently a J has a long E sound as well.

I cannot choose between Tommy and Dimash. They are both such awesome covers. Aside from that, your hair is prettier than Tommy's...and Tommy is freaking beautiful!!! I adore his smile and laughing eyes. If I was young again I would totally girl crush on Tommy. And, yes, the J sounds like Y. Just like Christmas Jule/Yuletide. I tried Julmust (pronounced Yule-mist) soda from Sweden for the first time this year after seeing it in Tommy's Christmas cheer song.

He is amazing. Freddie Mercury said never be boring and he for sure is not that. Freddie would have said, beautiful, darling. But I am still gonna vote for Queen with Freddie Mercury in the original. And probably Queen with Adam Lambert in second. But these Queen songs are hard to sing and you gotta have a certain edge to get it done and Tommy has that. IMO anyway. 💗

I mean the name is Swedish and if you do not speak Swedish you should not be held to the standard of not saying it with your accent. Its not a fair standard. Butsince you keep asking and its my name to so i am allowed to butcher it, its JO(sounds just like the word jew) -HAN (like the famous starwars smuggler)-SSON( like run but with a S). Johan is swedish for John and son is the same so its son of John or Johnson. Its supercommon and most Swedes will say it is English. "Hey I am Marcus Johnson".
