@@veryrandomperson5739 you like Maresca? i’m not a big fan but i’m open to hearing people’s opinion on him. for me, he had probably the best team in the Championship and only won it by 1 point. nearly bottled in the end. i think McKenna’s resume is more impressive considering the level of talent he worked with. his work will translate to a higher level. there’s a reason United want to get him. Maresca is more of a risk.

I do feel the amorim vs Mckenna is a bitunfair as a comparison, why Sporting is part of the big 3 of Portugal and simply have much better quality than the rest of their league. Ipswich on the other hand had just been promoted so most of that squad was league 1 level players so they wouldn't immediately dominate all those metrics even though they blew away their league. I still would prefer Amorim due to his profile as a Manager, which I think would make it easy for the fans to back him but stylistically I don't see him as a clear better option than Mckenna.

The weirdest news for me is overrated Olise being linked with Chelsea again. You already have Palmer plus 5 other promising right wingers.

Olisie isnt a pure winger. He can play in the 10 role as well. But i agree if we are not selling Sterling then there are other positions we need to strenghten the squad.

Olise is decent but we've signed about 50 wingers. Currently in the process of splashing 60 mill on another useless 17 year old Brazillian winger. Fuck clownlake

Sorry to let you down bro, Amorim is a no go. His release clause is near 20m, We’re stressing paying £11m for Maresca. McKenna’s is £4m which is perfect for our FFP situation.

Guys.. Please don't accept mediocrity, none of these managers should be an option. We keep letting the owners screw the club for their own gain without consequences, they'll continue to do so. A protest should be on the cards!

TBH i would prefer Amorim over McKenna. We have a lot of spanish and portoguise speaking players. More will join in the upcoming months and years. Sure the likes of Paéz, Estevao and others will learn english. But its much easier for them when a coach is able to explain things in their native language. He is a good mix of having some experience and bring his own ideas of modern attacking football. Also the acceptance from the fanbase will be higher for Amorim compared to McKenna.

How can you say McKenna is a "terrible" choice and be excited about Ruben Amorim despite the portuguese coach being a bearded version of Poch? His style of play is very similar to Pochettino which is saw fail pretty badly at Chelsea. McKenna plays the exact formation we were playing in this fugazi Poch winning run but he can actually coach a team. Just do some research, it won't hurt.

It’s not Amorim, It’d be Xavi if he gets sacked from Barcelona. Amorim’s release clause destroys the chances of a deal, and I doubt he’d be willing to forfeit any say in the Transfer Marker.

But you can’t compare these guys based on two different leagues in different countries. Your analysis is flawed. You may want to compare track records of Kieran and Thomas Frank even though they’re also in different leagues

Olise is a huge yes. Front 3 of nkunku palmer and olise would be huge. Palmer and nkunku could switch and so could Palmer with olise. It’s the most dynamic front 3 we would have since eden era. I understand the noni+ everyone else on the right wing. But we start olise, drop noni. And then sell noni when messinho comes in. Noni isn’t a superstar, no offense to him, but olise is that guy

20th of April after the poor results against the likes of Burnley and Sheffield U also exit from the FA Cup Poch's fate was sealed. Around the same time Amorim flew on a private jet sponsored by Boehly to see ...West Ham? Yeah... Nothing was announced since about this deal and actually downplayed to avoid instability at both clubs. Sporting was chasing the title and will play the cup final this Sunday while Chelsea was still hoping for some sort of European football. Currently Fabrizio claims that Chelsea will announce their manager in days rather than weeks which is a very confident thing to say when so many clubs need managers unless of course you wrapped the deal a month ago. It's Amorim 100%.

Amorim or RDZ are the ones who will seem like the best options for this team. The whole “yes man” narrative is ridiculous bc if u are employed by someone, u are going to have to deliver objectives that they set for u…the only way ur not a yes man is if u are self employed, which no manager in world football is considered in that regard…Not even Pep…he didn’t know who Doku was and still used him when he arrived at the club.🤷🏾‍♂️🤣…

This is why dont liek the poch out people, absolutely no foresight. Look at the options we have now its utter garbage. Kompany took the championship by storm kast season, look what he did in this one, Burnley were relegated. It is too big of a step. That being said, Xavi is a very good name.

Olise is either RW or 10…and we can always sell Madueke next summer if we get Olise bc Olise is better…this puts Palmer in the 10 where he’s most dangerous…what’s so hard to understand about this move? And if u think the kids coming in 2025, they are gonna be brought on slowly…so Olise will be the starter until they catch up in a few yrs…this is how u layer your signings to ensure they develop while not sacrificing the present
