God bless her! She has had such a tough time. When my daughter was 9 she fell on some ice and fractured several bones in her back. We were concerned she would never walk again for quite a long while. For months she could lie down and stand up with crutches but could not sit. She started swimming with physical therapy and by high school she was a competitive swimmer and a cross country runner. She has three children and has no residual effects. God is good. Prayers for your Tillie!

Tillie has been brave, strong and resilient. She keeps smiling. I’m old and have had lots of hip surgeries which included bone fractures. I cried so much from the pain of it. And I didn’t smile. Tillie is like the energizer bunny. She continues to give us faith, hope and joy. Sue, your pain is visceral and makes all mothers cry. We, as your subscribers, will help where we can. Take care. Bless the NHS, pride of Britain! I had some quite bad mental health problems after my back operation a couple of years ago when I was 13. Unfortunately the child psychologist in the hospital I was in didn’t seem keen to help, she came without me knowing she was coming and then when I struggled to answer her questions she left in less than 5 minutes and we never saw her again, I’m glad Tilly is getting that support because it’s very necessary after big surgery. I hope she feels better soon!

I started out pretty sceptical. I do question how as a parent you can support children as they age with their education, personal wellbeing and life pursuits in such a large family. Yet the more I watch you the more you all inspire me. The way you tackle everyday is amazing

You know when you feel overwhelmed with things to do before Christmas, then you watch this and it puts everything into perspective. Literally don’t know how cope with all the upset, looking after the kids, not being able to do what you had planned and decorating the lounge at the same time. Best wishes to you all 💕

I fractured the growth plate in both of my legs and both legs were in full length casts. It was a challenge but at least I was 11 and very double jointed!

Just seeing this....God bless Tillie and the whole family. I’ve had a horrible break in the past and worn an external fixator. I feel for her, as it’s difficult. Luckily, kids are so tough and resilient! I’m a nurse and see kids bounce back so brilliantly! Prayers always go out to you all.

Tillie I understand how hard everything is for you Dear. I'm 38 and in the last eight years I have had 15 surgeries on my feet and ankles. Right now I've had a cast on my leg for 6 months and I've 2 more to go. And many more surgeries. I am in a wheelchair all the time now. It can be really hard. Just know that you aren't alone and that you are an amazing person. I have faith in your awesome personality and I bet you are going to end up okay! You are fabulous. You have such a lovely family! Bless her. I hope she has a quick recovery. I have broken my fibula and I know how she feels. I know it sucks really bad but it's only 6 weeks. You will be good as new before you know it and things will go back to the way they were quickly. Wish you all the best!!
