In this compilation we will see the best CAVE arcade games, where we will find all its successes, but also its great unknown gems, which makes it a video with a very high educational value and also for the preservation of the video game.
CAVE undoubtedly stands out from the SHMUP genre, in this collection we will enjoy the arcade games that we can emulate today, there are some that still cannot be emulated, such as the Dodonpachi Sai-Dai-ou-Jou. The gameplay in this video is longer than usual because I wanted to enjoy the show SHOOT'EM UPS!!!
**Info**CAVE is a Japanese video game company, known in the West mainly for its shoot 'em ups. CAVE was formed primarily by former members of Toaplan (The Kings of the Shmups) after their disbandment, and several of Cave's early games are often regarded as spiritual successors to earlier Toaplan works, notably Truxton and Batsugun.

Thank you for your video, I didn't know that these games existed until I purchased a Super Console Cube X3. It has 16 Cave games on it, and they all play great. Love the vertical shooters, DoDonPachi is so much fun!

Desconocía a Cave (menos mal que a mi amigo MAME sí que le sonaban...), aunque sí que sabía de títulos como los DoDonPachi. Me encantan tus vídeos, son auténticos documentales sobre videojuegos y, al ver el año de producción, podemos comprobar cómo avanzaba la factura técnica con el paso del tiempo.

La primera impresión con danmakus, más que de tiros, me parecían de laberintos. Ya les voy pillando el punto, culpa sobre todo de progear. Por cierto, este juego es más panorámico, como referencia si sale un círculo lo verás alargado. Gran trabajo, como siempre.

4:19 Last decade, I bought a copy of "Deathsmiles" for Xbox 360 which also included the audio CD Music Soundtrack...worth it. My favorite avatar is Sakura The Magician Witch who joins The Main Cast later. I'd play such every Halloween. I've since aquired the DLC alongside their Xmas Sequel VIA PS4 NETWORK. If you're still into old school straight shooting, this game is worth it.

Yeah, that's this KZfaqr's schtick, he titles a video "best of X" and it's basically every game that manufacturer has created. Reminds me of that "EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!" song from the one Lego movie.

Ketsui's Stage 1 Theme has to be one of the best video game music I've heard. They did not have to go THAT hard for the first stage.

If you haven’t found out how, I just did it to most my games in MAME. The only thing I can’t figure out is how to get that black framed bezel in the center screen. Check my channel for some demo videos...it showcases the modified BGFX chains.

Can any one link of shooter/shoter (name of Vertical Shooter Arcade game ) Similar to chicken invaders in game play .which I can't find any where at the internet.When I first play this game it comes with commandos cd.. In the game play which I remember there is ship as player and after playing games for some interval ship is bale to upgrade and its fire rate and bullets.where on earth i find this game.

El Deathsmiles 2 es el único que no corre con el MAME, hay un lanzador para correrlo en PC, pero tiene algunos fallos gráficos, no es una emulación muy exacta.

@@nirv Wow....you sound like a huge ignorant prick if I've ever seen one. The Nintendo Switch is capable of playing all of Cave's games unaltered just fine. Capcom Arcade Stadium has Progrear (along with all other arcade games) and I've had not a single issue with it. Also suggesting a person to pirate the game even if that person wants to support the company is even worse. Please pull that PC Elitist bullshit out of your ass when you get a chance, okay?

Algunos empacados vienen incompletos...ya me pasó algo parecido. Sigue intentando, hay muchas páginas de dónde descargar el juego (de hecho yo también lo quiero, jejeje). Saludos!!

para jugar Akai Katana, Deathsmiles y Deathsmiles MegaBlack Label usa el MAME version 217, ya sea 32 bit o 64 bit, yo uso la de 32 bit, las rom de Deathsmiles las puedes descargar de la page de Romhustler, la de Akai Katana tendrias que buscar en alguna otra page, la rom debe pesar minimo 71 megas; otra cosa importante es la potencia de tu pc, si es una cafetera de 2010 hacia abajo es probable que los juegos tengan lag, pero si es tecnologia del 2012 en adelante el juego te debe correr bien, suerte, :3

@@AlexHeatCastro a excepción del Deathsmiles II, todos los demás juegos de CAVE te corren en esa versión, el Deathsmiles II si lo marca en la lista de juegos, pero cuando lo ejecutas indica que la rom está incompleta, y la unica version que hay disponible es una rom que pesa 850MB, también está una versión con su propio emulador, pero como ya mencionaron en otro comentario tiene problemas graficos, en mi pc a veces crashea el video y ya no se ve nada, debo cerrar el juego y reiniciar el explorador de windows, la versión 217 del mame es la que he encontrado mas estable, la versión 221 tambien te corre los juegos de CAVE pero ya no recuerdo qué problema le encontré y por eso no la uso para esos juegos,

find a plane shooting game Description: vertical screen, dropping bombs is a large circle assembled from many small circles, when Player 2 drops bombs together, they combine to form a large electric circle. Regarding ammo, there is one that when upgrading the last bullet will shoot out like a cloud, but around that cloud there is a blue line that bends around like dragons hugging that pillar and chasing the enemy. The bullets fired are exactly the same as the Dogyuun game, but the graphics are better

Que triste me puso el video, al ver que de todas éstas joyas, solo jugué el Ibara PS2; y por un instante, porque acababamos de descubrir con mis amigos el gta San Andreas. No porque todos estos Danmaku y en especial los laterales, se ven excelentes. Antes del Ibara, de los últimos que jugué fueron marca Psikyo...

ケイブのゲームが過渡期になった文は否めないけど。ゲームの楽しさって「クリアする」事だけが目的でも無ければそれを求めないと面白くないっていうゲームは個人的には低評価（そう言うのはRPGとかでやってくれ）と思う自分としては「クリアは絶対無理だけどやってて楽しいから何回でもしたくなるゲーム」って最高だしそんなゲームをケイブは作ってきたと思う。ただ…ここから悪い方向に変わってしまった感は否めないんだよなあ。一言で言おうと「敷居が高くなりすぎた」という所だろうな。

29:37 Ibara should not be in this list. The ship's too big, the bullets are too slim and hard to see. This game is not a true Cave game and definetly not a good manic.
