True coatings are becoming more and more difficult to justify, when similar results are achievable with minimal effort.

Same question I was going to ask. I have been using wet coat for several years and love it. Initial thought about this product and application method is that I can’t think I would like it better than wet coat.

@@U2SuzyQ731 agree. Firmly agree. I’m convinced it’s voodoo magic lol. I garage keep my vehicles and I get way more than 3 months on everything above the rockers. Bottom half probably lasts a solid month and a half before needing another application. Amazing product for someone who doesn’t have time for wax.

@@lukelambert4595 Just discovered it in the Fall. Prepped my car prior to Winter for my daily driver. Still giving me incredible hydrophobic properties after 3 months!!

@@U2SuzyQ731 that’s awesome! Yes, it makes washing and drying so much easier! I was most impressed with how it does on glass. I swear it seemed like it made it about a year on my wife’s suv.

@@theragcompany What ease of use? It's pretty much the same as using any other sealant. You still have to dry the car, so what does it matter if you spray the sealant on the drying microfiber towel or spray it directly on the car before drying?

@@Calendyr I personally think most consumers would way rather prefer a quick rinse as an application than applying and buffing every panel. I'd go for this hands down assuming it actually holds up down the road.

@@mikeypotts4732 even if it lasts a couple months, its worth it for how little extra time it takes to apply during a wash. I've been playing around with gyeon wet coat, which I really like because it keeps cars clean and takes only a couple mins to apply.

I haven't used meguires hybrid ceramic wax, but these spray on - rinse off products are much easier and quicker to use than seal and shine. Literally an extra couple mins at the end of your wash and you have some good protection. Nothing wrong with seal and shine other than its tendency to streak on dark colors. I would argue that spray sealants/coatings are in a different category than rinse off coatings, just as seal and shine shouldn't be compared to an actual ceramic coating. Spray coatings are much less durable and much easier to apply than a true high solid coating. You're essentially asking why would you use Easy Coat when you can just apply a ceramic coating to the car. The answer is - you wouldn't use Easy Coat, but you wouldn't save your time and energy, either.
